How do i remove the covering of the wheels to lock
LG refergiators have floor stops that screw down to contact the floor to keep it from rolling when the doors are opened.
There is one stop on each side, In front of the front wheels.
You may need to remove the toe kick grille to see them.

LG Refrigerator 26905
reset by pressing the two temperature buttons on the front together for 10 sec until all the lights come on?
LG LFX28978 Refrigerator, freezer not cold enough, maintaing temp at 40-41 degrees.
How did you remove ice from freezer. If you uses any type of tool (Scraper etc) then you have possibly punctured the evaporator tubes. These tubes can be either as a radiator type or form part of the freezer box and are very thin therefore susceptible to puncturing when using scrapers or such to remove ice.
To remove ice from refrigerator condensers allow it to melt, you can use a hair dryer to speed this up but DO NOT use mechanical means.
LG water leak near the the filter
Take the filter out and examine the seals that are on it. Make sure there are no burrs or gouges. Put some shortning on it for lubrication, reinsert.
LG refrigerator not dumping ice.
I own a LG LFXS24566S and it was making ice but not dumping it.
If I pressed the reset button, it would dump the ice and fill the tray again but once frozen it would still not dump the ice. A technician was dispatched to replace the ice-maker but the problem remained. During the next visit, he had me "reboot" the refrigerator by removing power for five minutes, which fixed the issue.
Error Code ER FF
I had the same problem. I can tell you that simply unplugging the fridge and letting it defrost isn't going to work. You need to get take it apart.
I had the Er FF code about 2 months ago and let the freezer defrost for a couple hours and it started working again. Then two days ago I got the error again. This time I decided to get inside there.
First and foremost, UNPLUG the fridge and TURN OFF the water!
Next empty everything out of the freezer and start taking it apart. You have to get everything out of it to get that back panel off. This includes the ice maker and the rails that the drawers slide on.
Now that the freezer is completely empty there are two screws that hole the back panel on. In my freezer one is a white screw high in the center and one was a gold screw in the little panel that the ice maker hooked up to.
Next grab the back panel by the little fins on the top of it in the middle. Give it a good firm pull, but take care not to yank it too far... it's still connected by wires back there. When I pulled my panel out I found a HUGE chunk of ice on the top of the panel just to the right of the fan that feeds cold are to the fridge. Get that thing off of there taking care not to damage the foam insulation and watch those shiny metal fins that are behind the panel.
While you're putting it back together try to dry everything off as much as possible (I tried see the bright side of the whole evolution and realized I could really clean my freezer).
Once it's all put back together plug that baby in, turn on the water, and enjoy the next four hours as it gets back to being cold.
I'd say you need moderate tinkering skill to do this. If you only own one screwdriver and you never use it you should probably call someone.
Hope this helps!
How to reset lg lsfxc2476s ice maker
Try and un-plug the fridge for 10 minutes, then plug it back in. It should reset. Make sure the arm is in the down position inside the ice compartment.
LG REFRIGERATOR how do I get the internal covers off to allow me to clear its drain NO FROST GR432SF
We just did ours a few days ago. LG-GR419 could be similar to yours. Freezer part.
We found the bottom drawer stuck with ice - frozen water dripping out from the drain. So, took three screws out. Due to the drain being frozen (could be a result of someone leaving the freezer door open at some point and then just closing it after some melt...the back panel will come off with a tug - after the ice behind it melted. We used a hair dryer to do this - sparingly. Can't afford to melt any plastic.
Then once tugged off, we saw a layer of ice in the tray and defrost that with the hair dryer - until everything is clear. At the back of the fridge, we took off the panel - cleaned the dust clogging the slits - my Goodness, no wonder the fridge was working so hard! Chockablock! Anyway, traced the drain hole to a tube. But at that point, not sure why the drained water doesn't go through the tube - perhaps it is not meant to...maybe it is a slow drip and the fan at the back evaporates the water collected - so that was it. So far, it is back to normal. We also found it quieter.
Outer back and side of fridge is very hot
Turn it off.
If you keep running it, it will die completely fairly soon.
Please feel free to jump to the end if you don't want a fridge science lecture - it might help you figure out the problem though.
When a fridge/freezer runs, the condenser (all the tubes at the back) will get warm-hot. That is where the heat goes from inside the fridge.
First thing to check;
is there excessive heat to remove from the fridge/freezer?
Check the door seals are ok - cold air falling out of a bad door seal can make a fridge both cool and warm a room at the same time - which obviously leads to problems
Check that the lights inside actually go off when you close the door by pressing the switch that the door usually presses when it shuts, and checking that the door will press the switch as far as it needs to go.
Second thing;
Check that there is adequate ventilation at the back - remember the ideal situation technically for a fridge is to have the bit at the back outside the house in the shade like an air-con unit. pull the fridge a bit more away from the wall and try blowing a fan onto it. Clean gently with a soft brush any dust etc that is on all the tubes at the back - it can cause an insulating coat to form. If the dust is sticky and hard to shift, then gently use a soft paintbrush and warm soapy water.
Third thing;
When the amount of refrigerant gas in a fridge system is getting low (they all leak a tiny bit all the time - even without any fault)
two main things happen:
The fridge gas has a lubricant mixed in with it that keeps the inside parts of the system oiled. when the gas is low, so is the oil and you get the same effect as running a car with no oil - runs hot, then dies.
The low gas has an effect inside and outside the fridge - inside, near where the gas first enters the evaporator (the plate in the fridge that gets cold) it will get extra cold. the compressed refrigerant evaporates too quickly - easy way to explain is that there is nothing in front of it in the queue so it runs through too quick. the same thing happens in reverse when the gas goes into the condenser at the back, the gas condenses too quickly making the back very hot.
I think, from what you say, that low gas is the problem. Although it is not too complicated, it is illegal for you to do it yourself in most places for environmental and safety reasons - get any fridge repair guy and he can do it and check for leaks at the same time.
Hope this helps, and is in time to save your fridge :)
