Sounds like there was an accidental change to the brightness control. Try unplugging the TV overnight and see if it will reset to factory setup. If that doesn't work use your flashlight to see if you can get to the menu page for brightness and then move the control to the middle-- it will bring up the brightness. Also, you can try to find the menu item to reset all controls to the factory settings. Look in your manual or find the manual on-line.

Hi, that message indicates that your video source is providing an unsupported video resolution , please check in settings that video output resolution is no more than 1920 x 1080 @ 60Hz. Also remember to verify that HDMI is selected as input source at monitor.

DVD REGION FREE & BLUE-RAY REGION FREE To change the Region code on your DVD player, open Control Panel - System - Hardware - Device manager, and click on DVD/CD ROM drives, then right click on the DVD drive and click Properties then click on DVD Region. You can enter a new region and it also shows you how many changes have been made. NOTE you can make only 4 changes and the player will lock permanently on the 4th change. If you want to play DVDs from any region you maybe able to upgrade the firmware to make it region free BUT if you make a mistake or installed the wrong firmware the player will be a piece of junk. The best solution to make the player region free is to install a piece of software (Passkey for DVD) that allows you to play DVDs from any region and Passkey for Blu-ray that allows you to play Blu-rays from any region. There are several available on the Internet but my favourite is DVD-Region Free From: - www.dvdfab.com/products,free.htm

makes a difference where this line is... very top, top, middle, bottom, very bottom? also, is this set new to you, or has it been fine for a while, and just started doing this? does the line stay there when you switch to other inputs? (like a dvd player or a gaming console)? this kinda stuff will help you get an answer that makes sense - good luck

Hi, The OS upgrade is controlled by the phone manufacturer. You can look through LG's website to see if they plan any upgrades.

Use a wireless extender. Then from the back of the extender use Ethernet to plug to your player. Better still, plug it into a switch and then you can use the switch to connect multiple devices using Ethernet which is much faster than the built in wifi.
