Lexmark x2580 cartridge error
Try cleaning the copper strip that runs up the front of the cartridge (not the bottom) use a paper towel and some windex and wipe it off. if that does not work the cartridge may be shot. It does happen randomly or can be causedf by a power surge.
Lexmark Z715 will not print but computer says it is printing
The Z715 needs a #50 black ink cartridge and a working color cartridge to print. To check if there ios ink coming out of your black or color cartridge touch the bottom of it to a paper towel and if you see a solid black blob or 3 blobs of Yellow, blue and red for the color then your problem is else where. If U are printing stuff from the internet sometimes the printer will try to use the color cartridge to print this so even though the black is working it comes out blank if the color is dry
Printer flap is closed but printer says it's not
Open up the door on the printer again. Let the printer carriage (contains the printer ink cartridges) move to the center position. Now you can usually slide the carriage back to the starting position manually. Turn off the printer and allow it to rest. You probably did not harm the printer, but the original starting position was interrupted and needs to be rest. Don't be worried about the sounds, it is only the transfer ribbon making that sound.
Lexmark x4270 wont turn on.
I would look for a dusty LED or sensor. They're used to let the printhead to find its position. Once cleaned the head should align properly.
I own a Lexmark X75.
Hi Keith was the replacement fuse good to go has it blown again. more info and update please Steve, PSU should not be serviceable but with the correct tools and knowhow... .
I the new fuse was good (Tested on a low watt table lamp) then there is most likely a short in the X75.
