On the back of the display or near it, there will be a capacitor and it is responsible for regulating current to the display. As it fails, the display gets dimmer. If just needs replacing. The coffee holder is just hanging in place, not secure against the seal as it should be. Make sure the coffee holder is secured flat up against the seal before turning the handle and locking it into place.

The error 06 comes after start up and machine in auto test - happens because of more than one problem. However first unplug the machine and then remove the water tank filter (the cylinder inside the water tank) and wash it up. Actually the filter should probably be replaced. However fix it back in the water tank and tide it safely upon the exit ring.Now restart the machine and let it perform the automatic self testing.

Your machine makes 4 levels of coffee. Espresso, strong espresso, coffee and long coffee. The strength is controlled by the knob on the front of the machine. Page 7 in the user manual.

Today I fixed mine krups ea8108 by changing the heatblock NTC... With a 3D printer NTC 100K ohm.... I just screw the new NTC together with heat blow fuses... See pictures... NTC can be unglued / removed from the heat boiler block with a screwdriver... Stock NTC is 100K ohm in case you wonder... My problem was that machine didn't preheat on power on... it was heating only with steam button... Simple replace ntc with 3d printer ntc or any other 100K ohm ... Solder it to normal connector cables and done... Final result: Stock ntc: behind stock ntc: New ntc cables joined to normal ntc connector cables: New ntc:

I experienced the same problem with my GVX2 grinder: after pushing the start button the motor starts but immediately stops. It appeared that the capacitor C1 (0,47 uF/275V X2) that reduces the high AC voltage in the power supply was damaged. After replacing this capacitor the machine runs perfect again. WARNING: the GVX2 has a power supply without transformer so it's extremely dangerous to work on it while connected to 220 V AC supply. Always disconnect the equipment from the high voltage AC power supply before opening it and before working on it ! Don't touch anything when the case is removed and when it's connected to higher power (eg 220 V AC) supply. Attached for your convenience - and without any liability or warranty from me - the schematics I've drawn from the printed circuit board of my apparatus. It your own responsibility to check if it is right and if it can be applied to your own apparatus.

I suggest that you use the commands to "close the machine" for transport and then re-start it as if it was new. I had to get rid of my EA8250 after only 2 years as mine stopping working as well. I tore it apart and saw a lot of wear for such as short time. My grinder also stopped. KRUPS says you cannot use Oily beans but only after you buy the machine.

actually I prefer my Bunn coffee maker . with practice you can make small brews and ground coffee is less expensive than pods .of which I have tasted many and like none of them
