Viewfinder not coming on!

I found this "solution" on another site and it actually worked!
Turn the camera upside down. Now, with the device off, tap it a few times in your hand. Now, turn the device on in the viewfinder mode. Tap it again if the viewfinder isn't active.

Where can I get my Digital Camera or Film Scanner repaired?

Digital Camera and Film Scanner repair: If you are experiencing a problem with a Konica Minolta, Minolta, or Konica brand digital product, please send this item to: Konica Minolta Photo Imaging U.S.A, Inc. Camera Division Attn: Digital Repair 725 Darlington Avenue Mahwah, NJ 07430 When sending in a digital product for service regarding an image quality issue please include a sample image or scan. For scanners also include the actual slide or negative you are trying to scan. This will help our technicians verify and correct any anomalies. Please pack your product in the following way: Place the product in a sealed plastic bag. (Please do not use tape to seal the bag.) Place the bagged product inside a sturdy corrugated cardboard box. Place enough dry packing material around the bagged prodcut to make sure it does not travel within the box during shipment. The best material to use is foam packing "peanuts." You can also use popcorn. Please include a detailed description of the problem(s) you are experiencing. If this item is under warranty, please include photocopies of your dated sales slip and Warranty Card. (If we are unable to verify your proof of purchase, we may have to treat the services as an out of warranty repair, in which case you will receive a written estimate for your approval before we proceed.) Remember: Konica Minolta will not assume the responsibility for damage encountered in transit and will institute charges for any repairs required. In fact, such damage specifically voids any warranty otherwise in force. Please submit a troubleshooting Interactive Q&A detailing the problem that you are experiencing for assistance and further instructions on repairing your digital product.

Is it possible to use the transformer when using DiMAGE A1 abroad?

Here are trans transformer and electric transformer (small model is mainly for overseas travel). There is no problem when using trans transformer, however when using electric transformer, there are many models which cannot be used with battery charger, precision instruments and so on.

I need a usb cable for my camera

A camera store or electronics store will likely have the correct cable. It's most likely a "mini usb" connector. If there's a Best Buy near you, they should have it.

Buy a new usb cord

The manual calls it the USB Cable USB-3. DONT MIX THIS UP WITH USB3 cable. I Think, but I'm not 100% sure they mean a normal USB cable with a mini connector. To be 100% sure check the wiki page and look if it is the second from the left. It is a normal USB2 mini connector, you can buy in almost every electronics shop. Some manufacturers did use other cables, but this looks just a normal mini connector.

Either the card is bad, or it is to big for the camera. If other devices can read it, it might not be compatable with your camera

A200 faulty selector switch

Same thing happened mine. Take out battery and leave camera for a few weeks until internal cell goes flat. Switch to "stills" mode and put battery back in. You will need to reset the date and time. LEAVE SWITCH IN "STILLS" mode for ever more.

Unable to Use Card

My Z6 does the same thing every now and then.

The only way I can get the message to stop (and that annoying warning chime) is to pop the card in and out real fast with the camera turned on.

It seems as though these Konicas are REALLY picky with the cards, and this is a well known issue. Also, make sure the little "lock" tab is in the "unlock" position.

You can also try taking the batteries out, and holding the on/off button for 1 minute. That resets it back to factory defaults, and clears out any "bugs". Sometimes it helps.

Sometimes using a card reader and manually formatting the card works too.
