Kohler a112.18.1 diverter will not spray
Generally the sprayer trigger assembly will unscrew from the hose. You can then point the hose toward the sink and turn on the water. It should flow freely through the hose when either the hot or cold is on. Generally there is a aerator on the spray head. You can access it by unscrewing the tip of the sprayer assembly and clean out any mineral deposits. There may also be an inline type filter in the handle where it screws onto the hose that can be removed and cleaned. If this doesn't help I would guess the on-off triggering assembly is broken and you would have to replace the sprayer head.Hope this helps.
Brand new kohler cruette. attached cold and hot water fine. when snapping in the pull out faucet hose it sprays all over under the sink
Hi rysenga, the problem is an omission of directions. The section 9 directions are the worst offender and left me never again to purchase a Kohler product. First, this connection for the pull out hose to the outlet fitting should have been a screw on connection. Should have been. Ok it was not, I'll get over it. But the directions never mention having to install the white plastic bushing. Not at all. Nor does it mention that the bushing should be put on the outlet first and then push the hose connection in. This omission is a huge one, but should help anyone else reading this complete the install. Find the oval lip white bushing and install this first on the body, and then just push the connector in. Done.

I cannot figure out how
Under the handle, there is a curved trim ring at the top that needs to be unscrewed from the base. This can be on tight due to hard water buildup. I cut two strips of rubber to wrap, one to wrap around the trim ring and the other to wrap base while using channel locks for the trim ring and a pipe wrench to keep the base from turning. After that is off, you will see a large hex head retainer nut that holds the valve assembly in place. A spanner wrench will get that off fairly easy. Reassembly is the reverse. Kohler specs the hex nut to be torqued at 9 ft-lbs or 1//4 turn past hand tight.
Stem broke
Below is a link to the care guide with service parts for your model of drain. If you scroll to page number 20 it shows an exploded parts diagram, figure out what piece you need and call a local plumbing supply store with the part number, they can get you the part within a few days for most likely alot cheaper than it would be to replace the entire drain.

Leaking diverter valve
is it a kitchen faucet or a tub faucet? if it a kitchen faucet it will be a cartridge issue, if it is a tub faucet it could be as easy as a o-ring or a separate cartridge. in any case the cartridges are usually in the main part of the handle and you usually have to take apart the faucet. i know this may sound funny but make sure you turn off the water to the faucet, you would be surprised how many people try to fix this with water on.
Faucet leaking at tee where hot and cold connect to spout
The designs of the Kitchen Sink Faucet mainly exhibit differences in its handles
and spouts. Differently curved spouts and handles diversify the range of
products. Some have long spouts and some are with short ones. The spouting of
water may also give different flow patterns with the external fixtures. The
handles are mainly in single or double. source Best Kitchen Faucets
Whirlpool stopper
If there is a small loop on the bottom of the stopper, the popup lever is supposed to poke through that. All you need to do is look at the drain tailpiece for the lever sticking out the back, undo the retaining nut to allow the lever to be removed from the drain, drop the stopper down so the loop can be engaged by the actuator rod you just pulled out, retighten the nut, then make the final adjustments for open height with the small metal tab holds the lever to the piece of metal with holes in it that is attached to the drain poppet in the middle of the faucet assembly above It should close completely and then open to drain.
I have no water after hooking up a kohler faucet

Faucet leaks
Depending on what exactly is leaking, you have a couple options. Many new faucets have a replaceable cartridge, which can often be picked up at a Home Depot or Lowes type of store. If not you may need to replace the faucet as an assembly.
