We just got a new furnace with humidifier, so they took out our old Kenmore humidifier.

We now have 4 of these parts...........valve button for float #28110101.

However, if the touch pad is not responding it can also be causing this code to appear. If the touch pad does respond properly, the sensor # 610.14 will need to be replaced. You can call 1-800-469-4663 and someone there may be able to assist you with the cost of the service call and the technician will be able to give you an estimate for the repair. Likely the evaporator froze as a result of low refrigerant pressure. IOW it needs a shot of freon, so to speak. (probably doesn't use freon)

Both 10 years, the third digit of the Model of Kenmore represent the year manufactured they also apply it to their other products.

Look for other areas where the airflow may be blocked.

The control circuit board has likely failed.

Depending on your model, the CF could mean the filter needs to be changed or that the unit needs to be reset. If your model doesn't have a reset button, you can unplug the unit from the outlet for 5 minutes.
