LOW / NO BATTERY ALARM The Low/No battery alarm will activate when the power level of the battery becomes low. The display will alternate between "b" (Battery, See figure 8) and the cabinet temperature, the red alarm light will become illuminated and the control panel will beep every five seconds. To stop the audible alarm (beep), press the "ALARM RESET" button. The red alarm light will remain on and the display will continue to flash until a new battery is installed. This same alarm will activate if there is no battery installed

try unplugging it and leaving it unplugged for a while. 15 minutes maybe? Leave door closed so it stays relatively cold. It should reset the unit.

The light may be staying on and creating heat, or the unit thinks the door is still open. Or the door seal is worn and is letting cold out. Or It needs gas. check the condenser fan. make sure its running. thats most likely the problem

In the freezer side there is a panel in the back. behind the panel are the evaporators. over the evaporators are heaters you will find one of then broken from water dropping on it the bottom one was broken on mine. put a fan to the freezer and thaw it out. get the model and serial numbers and look on ebay.com. or there is a place called http://www.repairclinic.com/ These are not hard to change but above all UNPLUG THE FRIG OR THEY MAY PUT YOU IN ONE. Question edited for full 'make model (what it is). Question moved to Maker category. 'FF' is Fast Freeze. Do a Power Reset. Disconnect from the mains for 5 minutes and plug back in. If that doesn't fix it, you will need a service call. It may have leaked refrigerant gas.

Without the model number I'm not sure how to answer your question. Does your model have fans that blow warm air on the outside bottom or a front kick plate? What is your model number? Kenmore has model numbers like this example=> 123.3214567 If the fan has a restriction that causes a lack of airflow it can cause the hot Freon liquid that normally flows around the Yoder Loop inside edges of the freezer door to prevent frost buildup to become very hot because the condenser fan is defective or coils are dirty with dust restricting airflow.
