Your burner has gone south. You can try a firmware upgrade to possible correct the issue but if that does not do the trick then the burner needs to be replaced.

There is no such thing as a 4.7 GB CD - I think you must mean a DVD. If, when you select the disc size in the software menu, you are choosing CD, then it will only burn up to the limit of a CD. BTW, Fixya does not provide software.

Had this problem myself a while back. NOTE - This is NOT a recommended procedure, and you try it purely at your own risk !!!!! I knelt down and struck the base of the camera firmly but gently on a carpeted floor, then tried again. This worked for me - if you wish to try it go ahead. Good luck

You can exit production mode by pressing the menu and reset button. Simply press and hold the MENU button first then press and hold the small reset button. Keep both buttons down until the radio powers off and back on. Do not let go of the buttons until the radio comes back on and off production mode. You may also press the MENU and reset buttons repeatedly.

Your camera has a removable SD card in it to record your video. If your computer has a card reader built in the you simply insert the SD card from the camera to the reader and transfer the files to your PC. If your PC doesn't have a reader, they can be purchased on line or Walmart or any camera supply store for anywhere from 3 to 6 or more dollars.

Use software such as Freemake Video Converter to save the clips in another format.
