Does anyone have a vacuum diagram for a 1999 jeep TJ wrangler 2.5L

the service manual OEM 120 pages, said this, did VECI fall off? VACUUM SCHEMATICS A vacuum schematic for emission related items can be found on the Vehicle Emission Control Informa- tion (VECI) label. For label location, refer to Vehicle Emission Control Information (VECI) Label" << federal laws here EPA. engine starts (sure) but does it have FULL POWER hot and cold???????????? throttle cable jammed? is it automatic tranny>? and Kick down cable jammed? got cruise. and cruise to TB cable jammed. scans show this: "P1299 Vacuum Leak Found (IAC Fully Seated) MAP Sensor signal does not correlate to Throttle Position Sensor signal. Possible vacuum leak!" FAST IDLE HAS MEANY CAUSES! THE Primary case is the IAC fails or vacuum leaks cause the IAC to go out of control. IAC is bolted to the TB. and is weak, then. I have the service manual, so can be exacting as you may know this jeep uses MAP Sensors fuel then engine. called Speed Density system. jeep (as in NO MAF sensor) that means any vacuum leak, cause fast RPM even your right foot does. the 2.5 is cut down 4.0L: and is MPI 4 injectors injecting it. we can pinch all vacuum lines, (not PCV) and see if RPM hot drops from 2k to 800 rpm,. bingo that line leaks if it drops RPM large. easy no? ,just pinch a line. or pull the end point and cork it, up. the car is 1999 and all 99 cars USA (is it) have OBD2 port. why not just scan the PCM first.? see errors called DTC. and can really help cut down time. and buying useless parts not needed at all. I owned for years a 1999 cherokee, 4.0L near same drive line. 5sp,m/t box. here are some very very common caused, seen on all ;my jeeps back to 1988. this is not guess, it is all jeeps fail here. every one, owned long enough and not serviced correctly THE IAC is simply clogged up., so clean it? all; mine loved to clog until my newer jeeps are TBW,throttle by wire. no IAC , now, gone. The the Throttle body TV throttle valve plate is gunked up and sticking open again, clean it. (PULL TB off) that is 2 thing things and to be frank , vast places go get vacuum leaks even old cracked injector cushion seals( at base) sucking air. we use a smoke machine on the hard nut cases. just like EVAP side. more, Brake booster leaks, called a huge vacuum leaks I bet EVAP hoses do not race the engine ever. map vac hose cracked egr hoses cracked. vac. HVAC dash heater controls vac hose cracked and sucking air./ canister evap purge valve hose cracked, sucking air it has a distributor vacuum advance hose. plug them to see if they leak. the map sensor quote SM. "INSTALLATION (1) Install rubber L-shaped fitting to MAP sensor. (2) Position sensor to throttle body while guiding rubber fitting over throttle body vacuum nipple. (3) Install MAP sensor mounting bolts (screws). Tighten screws to 3 N·m (25 in. lbs.) torque. (4) Install air cleaner intake tube" see that word rubber there, what if that leaks air. the under hood HVAC parts there have vacuum tank to hold vacuum in reserve and it too can leak air . I have cured vast vacuum leaks. on engines. nature abhors a vacuum (on earth) the end point sucks air. (like diaphragm devices and HVAC lots) to see all vacuum things in my OEM SM I had t type F3 100 times to find them all. find.F3 command. PDF reader. no single diagram is there in the book, , its on the VECI lable on car. look under hood and up and under hood yet? the PCM can go to limp home and doing so can force the IAC to dead, OFF LINE, so not scanning the PCM first is really bad idea. knowing just that. good luck, !

94 jeep wrangler overheating

Have the cooling system pressure tested. If it holds pressure, that's a good thing. If it doesn't hold pressure, you may have a leaking head gasket. What may be happening is the crack in the head gasket could be blowing hot air into the cooling system causing it to overheat.

Loosing water by the waterpump and the hose

Check for ruptured hose or loose clamps. If they look ok your waterpump may need to be replaced.

What will cause the Catalytic converter to smoke (smell of fuel) briefly after replacing spark plugs, coil packs and fuel injectors?

With new plugs and coils it's because of excessive amounts of unburned gas caused by the misfiring spark plugs previousally. Found this.. https://www.jeepforum.com/threads/03-liberty-3-7l-random-misfire-fixed.748667/ Best to you.

I need to know the firing orders of 2017 jeep renegade 2.4l and in what order do i replace spark plugs

oops pulled the wires first , ouch , to them 1 at a time. all cars ! gas. sure ,
  1. if you googled it , you;d see the answer.. 1,3,4.,2
  2. it is in the service manual
  3. or if coil packs, NGK marks the pack, 1,3,4,2) clear as day. gotta love NGK no? , no this jeep USA has 4 coil packs so if the 4 coil packs harnesses are not wreck , they simply just plug in DC side but your photos show the harness is GONE,, oops NO)! and shows COPS there x4.
  1. OK using photoshop yes I see all black part there good.
now I know (zoomed) what you ask. black/on/black no the PCM sets firing order, never you that is , not wrecking the harness.! 1,3,4,2 is the order on all non boxer 4 banger engines. not Subaru.(grin) or not VW 1965.boxer, AIR HEADS or 911S replace them in any order you want but gee 1 at time works on all gas engines made. for 100 years. the only tricks are, 4 in 1 coil packs and distributor but those too are changed 1 at a time, if savvy it is smart to ask, this, sure. for sure. the coils are fired by the PCM on the DC sided of each COP PCM programming does that (hard coded) COPS can be all done at once, of harness not damaged some cars after engine replacement harness is now a wreck and some hard hand wired mess. so we look first. then leap my jeep v6 the harness can be laid down wrong left to right . so I marked all mine before OFF'ing

2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee Liberty 3.7L. What would cause the headlights not to work?

Hello Joe Not sure what you mean when you say "when I turn the lever loose"? It sounds like the switch is faulty. If both headlights come on and then go off when you touch the lever, you know it isn't the bulbs, relays or fuses because they start off working. @Larry Ng is the Fixya Expert on Jeeps. Transmission Troubles codes on 2003 Jeep Liberty Renegade 3.7L V6 4x4

well; all those p07xx codes are hard transmission errors or shifter errors. check levels yet on the tranny, not look like tar or smell burnt? do it by the book do not guess, how. or horrible errors happen. tranny 42RLE or 45RFE used .then. P0731, means 1st gear ratio wrong. (means slipping) 732 means 2nd gear slips. 734 means 4th gear slips. the causes are many why are you not asking any shop to diagnose it box leaks and leaked out ATF , and is way too low. box pump is bad, weak. he will scan it first . and even see more errors than you saw. no miles on car told 20 year old and 250,000 miles on it ,or more?

What are codes P0733 and P0736 indicating on a 2002 Jeep Liberty?

Codes P0733 and P0736 on a 2002 Jeep Liberty refer to transmission-related issues. Here's what each code indicates: P0733 - Gear 3 Incorrect Ratio: This code indicates that the transmission is not shifting into the third gear correctly. It suggests a problem with the gear ratio between the input and output shafts of the transmission when the third gear is engaged. This could be caused by issues such as a faulty transmission solenoid, a worn or damaged gear, low transmission fluid level, or internal transmission problems. P0736 - Reverse Incorrect Ratio: This code indicates that the transmission is not shifting into the reverse gear correctly. It suggests a problem with the gear ratio between the input and output shafts of the transmission when the reverse gear is engaged. Possible causes could include a faulty transmission solenoid, a damaged or worn reverse gear, low transmission fluid level, or internal transmission issues.

Ok so I changed the speed sensor by the transfer case on my 2001 Jeep Cherokee sport (xj) and I'm having trouble finding the other speed sensor location any advice?

On a 2001 Jeep Cherokee Sport (XJ), there are typically two speed sensors: the vehicle speed sensor (VSS) and the rear axle speed sensor. The VSS is located on the transmission or transfer case, while the rear axle speed sensor is located on the rear differential housing. Here are some tips to locate the rear axle speed sensor: 1. Locate the rear differential housing: The rear differential is typically positioned towards the rear of the vehicle, underneath the rear cargo area. Look for the large metal housing connected to the rear axle. 2. Identify the speed sensor: The rear axle speed sensor is usually mounted on the differential housing itself. It will have a wiring harness connected to it. 3. Follow the wiring harness: Trace the wiring harness from the rear axle speed sensor. It will lead you to a connector that is plugged into the vehicle's wiring system. The connector may be located near the rear axle or along the frame. 4. Inspect the differential housing: Look closely at the differential housing for a small protrusion with a threaded hole. This is where the rear axle speed sensor is installed. It may have a retaining bolt securing it in place.
