My Navien is doing the same thing, and it's 6 days old. The older unit did the same thing as well... I'm guessing it has nothing to do with the unit, and something to do with the line... I'd love to get to the bottom of it as well.. :(

In my case I took the motor out and used a screw driver to turn the impeller in the front of the pump and the fins inthe back. Put it back together and it worked. I then used 2 tablesoons of dishwashing detergent and 1/2 cup bleach and ran it for 20 minutes to clean and degrease the impellers

Hi, Please attempt to start the jacuzzi without any water and see if it functions. Then you can fill the jacuzzi up to 1/4th with water and check if it continues to run. If so, continue to one half full. If this jacuzzi breaks down at these water levels, then you'd need to call the manufacturer to advise on what part needs to be changed to get everything working again. Thank you.

No jacuzzi magnums do not have a reset button. First make sure breaker to pool is off, then remove rear motor cover, and take a look. Popping noise sounds like an arked wire. Could be a bad terminal or just aloose power wire. JACUZZI PUMPS ARE GOOD QUALITY, AND USSUALLY RUN FOR MANY YEARS. Pump can be removed for repaair, or motor replacemant by a qualified, and republe pool shop, for rebuilding Ussually rebuilding is about half the cost of new. Kirk

No, replace the whole thing. That is bad design and inferior parts. Ask Moen to replace it under warranty. They might say No, but then again, they might know of a fix or if they had a bad batch of plastic parts.

Impeller may be broken or clogged. Turn the pump off and remove the basket. Reach back into the pump with your fingers and see if you feel debris. If you can't reach or if there is debris you will need to open the back of the pump, take off the diffuser, and clean out the impeller.

Need to know what buttons your topside control has... depending on the model, some have a mode button which you press and release and then immediately press the temp up or down, to select SL for sleep (no heat), ST for standard (heat as needed) or EC for Economy (only heat during filtration). If the mode button is not present, and you have a single temp button and light button, try pressing and releasing temp and then immediately pressing light button, repeat until choice appears, then wait, it will hold last displayed mode.

Hello, Several things can cause this problem- if you post a picture of the inside of the tank so we can have a good look at how the fill/stop mechanism operates that would be great. We could more than likely identify some type of problem and solution. Not all flush/fill mechanisms are not the same but thats surely where your problem is UNLESS its in your water lines. I had this same problem. I looked at the motor, and on one end (the end opposite where the water comes out) there is a hole in the middle. In that hole is a regular screw tip, which can be used to turn the motor. I filled the tub, inserted a slotted regular screwdriver and turned it about 8 times clockwise, then 8 times counterclockwise. You should see the whole motor turn. Doing this loosened it up, and then it started.

Once it started, all kinds or residue came out, which was probably why it had stopped working. I hadn't used it for a while.

After getting it running I'm going to run some cleaning solution through it, and make sure I run it more often to prevent this in the future.
