This is a problem with a iHome Laser Mouse
When you change the left mouse pointer to be the right mouse pointer in the settings of the mouse, then if the right mouse button stops working, it is a software problem and reinstalling drivers is the way to go. If on the otherhand the left mouse button still does not respond, then there is a problem with the switch in the mouse. This is hardware related. Either clean the mouse or buy a new one.
Connect mouse
IH-M822WR Mouse is a plug and play mouse, you need to remove a small usb device from the stowage slot. This is the receiver, plug it into any USB port on the computer you are connecting the mouse to and then wait anywhere up to 30 seconds for it to connect the first time. If this doesn't work change out the batteries to ensure they are working. If it still isn't working try another USB slot that is not attached to the first one used. If this fails to work you may have a faulty mouse.
When I type a letter on keyboard it keeps repeating the letter
The key might be sticking down, which is probably a defect in the product. I tested an ihome keyboard (Bluetooth) and everything except the spacebar was prone to sticking itself down, no pop spill or nothing. So, I recommend to return the keyboard if you still have the receipt and get a Bluetooth Apple keyboard instead, as ihome is good for their docks, but their keyboards suck!
Passkey for bluetooth
If your device is asking for a four digit passkey when you are trying to pair it, you are supposed to make one up and type the same into both devices.
How do i connect it
Plug in the little USB transmitter into a usb port and the computer should say that it is installing new hardware. While it is doing that, put the battery in the mouse, when your computer is done there should be an off switch on the bottom and you turn that on, then there is a connect button that you press and it should be good to go.
Ihome IH-M826WC driver
The Microsoft mouse driver usually works with all pointing devices. It also has an extensive library of devices. Try different ones until you find the one that works.
