My treadmill is an incline one. The problem is now

Hi,

Sometimes incline motors will get frozen in position and need broke free. Try this:
take the motor cover off and take the screw out of the bottom of the incline motor that is attached to the screw assembly. Once you remove the screw you should be able to break the incline motor free. run the incline up and down with the screw still off( laying the treadmill on its side may make this easier). Once it goes up and down (hold the screw so it goes in and out) reattach it then run the calibration described below. If it was just stuck it should work fine. If it gets stuck again the limit switch is bad on the incline motor and the motor would need to be replaced.

1. remove safety key
2. press and hold the speed+ and stop keys at the same time
3. Put the safety key in/on and release the keys
4. press stop once
5. hit the incline + arrow and let the incline go the whole way up and down
6. remove safety key and try

If these instructions do not work to fix the incline motor
check your main harness running down the right leg for breaks in the wires or a loose connection if nothings found, use an external power supply to power the incline motor to see if it will work correctly apart from the treadmill. If the motor will not power up or work correctly externally it is bad and will need replaced.

Let me know,if needed further assistance.

Hope i helped you.

Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!

The treadmill motor starts okay

The motor controller board can be the issue. The motor is controlled by motor controller board. If the motor is replaced, and its new, then other possibility can be motor controller board. Also check, if the belt is getting stiff.Under the belt, there is greese oil, that makes it move freely. If this greese oil gets dried up, then belt will become hard stiff to move. Also it can be possible that motor controller board is got weak and its over heating the new motor, so its not running.------ Get the motor controller checked and replaced.----------- This should help.Thanks.Helpmech.

Belt is slipping when i walk on it

If the walking belt slips when walked on, first remove the key and UNPLUG THE POWER CORD. Using the hex key, turn both rear roller bolts clockwise, 1/4 of a turn. When the walking belt is correctly tightened, you should be able to lift each edge of the walking belt 2 to 3 inches above the walking platform. Be careful to keep the walking belt centered. Then, plug in the power cord, insert the key, and carefully walk on the treadmill for a few minutes. Repeat until the walking belt is properly tightened.

Will the treadmill work without

Yes, it should. The surge protector is just to protect the electronics in case of a power surge.

Healthrider treadmill modle #HTRL21470 serial

Hi and welcome to FixYa!
An E2 is definitely a system failure. As a first course of action I strongly suggest that you press the reset button on the frame near the power cord. This will reset the system and can get the treadmill back to it's normal operation.

If the problem still persist please unplug the unit from power source and switch the treadmill ON while unplugged to hard reset the system.

Hope this helps and thank you for using FixYa! Have a good one!

Took apart the precor 9.4

Hello, Try recalibrating the incline motor. Remove the key and hold the stop and speed increase button down while attaching the key/magnet. This will put you into the incline motor calibration mode, just press the speed increase button and the motor will auto calibrate.

Hope this was helpfull.
