Husky Subaru 5000 watt generator Model #HU40500 replaced carburetor engine idles at max, How to adjust idle down no visible idle screw

There is no idle mode. It runs at a consistent 3600 RPM. There will be a run RPM adjust, just follow the throttle linkage/spring to the governor arm and there will be a second spring on the governor arm that goes to the throttle control adjustment.

Husky 128ld trimmer runs poorly, mostly with half choke. Replaced carb, air and fuel filter piston and cylinder, plug.

I had a Stihl blower that wouldn't rev. Exhaust filter screen was clogged. Removed and burnt with torch.

445 husky with new carb will not adjust to where the chain is not running

Husqvarna Operator?s manual Chainsaw 445 the carb is bad. a tech cleans it kits it or replaces it. same answer from 1920 to 1988 cars when EFI but yours is 100 year off carbs, we dismantle the carb and clear every inch in carb cleaner all air paths tiny and all fuel path jets. some carbs can defy cleaning if carb is too small like silly tiny string timers, (pain) with hair sized jets. i did my STIHL chainsaw all the time. cleaned, even every year, if not drained properly at end of seasons./ fixit youself or take it a shop. 2 choices there is a parts list on all saws. using the real name finds real books best 46cc engine, tiny that is. https://husqvarna.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/106/~/documentation---operators-and-illustrated-parts-manual-445-or-445e-series deep there somewhere is manual and parts list parts list will show true carb p/n # so one can be found.

My husky 128 ld binds up and won't retract the pull cord when I tighten the bolts . Why ?

The answer you seek is impossible to answer except by "who knows!" The recoil starter is self contained and engages with a shaped boss bolted to the flywheel - assuming everything is original and correctly assembled it should fit without problems, though I usually find a couple of test pulls during the tightening process helps everything bed together. If it only binds in the last half turn of the retaining bolts a sort of temporary cure would be to fit a flat washer between the starter unit and the air cowl or other housing. If the starter needs more standoff than a flat washer can provide there is probably something wrong with the assembly.

46 in riding mower - husky shut off like it bogged down with grass . The next use it won't start grind, wine or anything to start. Yes batt is charged, all lights come on. What is it?

Quite possible you have a wrapped wire or string around the crankshaft, between the blades and the deck. I have that issue with Craftsman 3-blade and it' s generally either fence wire or bailing twine blown over from the adjoining field. Undo ALL the sparkplug wires before shoving your hand in. Might even have to unbold the blades to get a good access if that's the issue

I have an ancient 254xp husky which runs exeptionally well but recently the half throttle mechanism on starting has stopped working and I cannot see why

The part throttle is actuated by the choke pull, the choke shaft on the carb has a white plastic arm that contacts and locks the throttle shaft, the arm is sprung loaded so when the trigger is pressed the arm jumps off, so you need to look at the arm, as it is plastic it can wear and then not engage with the throttle shaft.

Need to replace high pressure hose on a husky pressure washer. My hose has a couple of leaks.

If you have difficulty with the above it could be worth checking your local classified directory. In most towns there are small independent businesses that carry out all sorts of repairs or supply replacement parts, principally for other businesses. There are at least three in our small town, one dealing with pressure and other types of washers and vacuum cleaners (trade and industrial), another producing and repairing automotive radiators among many other things and another dealing with hydraulic and pneumatic systems and parts. Enquiries from the public are always welcome.

My husky 460 rancher needs a new chain sprocket, how do I remove the clutch assy to get to it?

There is a special tool that fits into the clutch with a 19mm head on it so as to fit an impact wrench part no. 502541601, however you can remove it using a suitable screw driver, preferably the one that came with the saw, insert into one of the slots provided in the clutch, now use a hammer and keep striking the head of the screw driver to jar the clutch off against the compression of the saw ( keep deco valve out ) remember its a left hand thread so clockwise , it will eventually spin off

I have a husky 61 that I think was made in 1981 how would I take the carburetor off?

Not too difficult, remove the top cover, 3 screws, remove the air filter, 2 screws on the later filter, 1 single screw on the early filter, remove the fuel hose and blank off with a suitable bung, gently pry the choke out of the choke shaft ( this is a bayonet style fit ) remove the throttle wire by pring it up and out of the throttle lever, now use a 4mm allen key to remove the two carb securing screws, you will need a short allen key to remove the lower l/h screw, the carb will now come away be carful not to lose the gasket, the induction block will also come away from the back of the cylinder. there will be another gasket here., all these components will have to be aligned to re fit the carb.

Husky tiller 500ctr a little older not sure about age but big pulley is lose and after I took it off you could tell its lose so the gears aren't engaging

The big pulley is driven by the engine via a belt, if the pulley is loose on the shaft then either the pulley or the shaft needs to be replaced, as the pulley is a softer material then most likely the pulley, if the shaft is moving up and down in the gear housing then the bearing has worn in the housing this would mean the two half's of the gearbox need to be parted, quite a large job.

Not getting gas on my husband 5000 husky he is getting fire. He cleaned the carburator and changed the coil. He gets fire but it ill not stay started.

Use pressure washer for cleaning or washing garden. I take your electricity instead of gas which is much cheaper for us. Before buying a pressure washer pump it is better to read the review about that product. Read review at PressureWasherify
