you have a bad transducer.. its a direct short if its leaking anything getting way to hot

its your back lighting try pushing your power button after unit starts up 3 times real quick see if that brings back lighting up some units have 3 light settings

bottom lock is out not locking to bottom

once you change settings you have to save the settings it will ask you do you want to save these settings push yes

they have longer power cables at hummingbird call em order you one

don't splice them bad bad bad call hummingbird order you a set of power cables

go to menu click on system go to simulator click off

go into menu scroll down to system click go to simulator mode see if its on if so turn it off

All electronics when they age the electrolytic capacitors dry up and need replacing, and you get aging solder joints that increase in resistance... this could be giving you false readings.

If your unit's serial number tag (on the bottom) has an 'X' after the model number.....Pmax 210X then you can change it to meters. The 'X' means international. If it is a US domestic model you are stuck with feet.
