HP Photosmart 7525 printing blank pages

Do a hard reset of the printer . Since you can print out a status report that indicates that the hardware and cartridges are good but that the software or electronics, may be bogus. If you go to HP they will refer you to a forum or advise you to get a new printer -an HP, of course!

Looks like a braille text

Open the HP Printer Toolkit (this software was installed from the CD-ROM that came with the HP printer) and run a "cleaning cycle",
because some of the ink-jets are clogged, which results in the "all-white" horizontal lines, where some part of that line should be black.

My HP c4580 states that the cartridge is missing or undetected. So I reinstalled the cartridges and it says the samething,WHAT DO I DO?

It's a new cartridge you fitted? If not, it's probably because it genuinely is empty. If new: Remove all the cartridges. Switch off the printer. Switch the printer off and reinstall the cartridges. Switch the printer on. Switch the printer off. If you continue to receive the same error message it's because the cartridge isn't fitted/seated correctly, or that cartridge has a problem.

Where can I get a windows 10 driver for HP8450 photosmart printer

Most HP drivers are available here: http://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers . Then search for your model. The direct link to the drivers for the Photosmart 8450 is http://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-photosmart-8400-printer-series/402149/model/402151#Z7_3054ICK0K8UDA0AQC11TA930C7 . Select your OS version. The Photosmart 8450 drivers should be found with the new hardware wizard in Windows 10. You'll need to connect the printer to the computer via a USB cable to start. (Make sure that the system is connected to the internet.) I hope this helps. Cindy Wells

I tried connecting my wireless

Open whatever program you're using for virus protection and/or firewall, and turn that OFF temporarily. If that solves the problem, then start looking for port blocking on the firewall software. You might also try the ADMIN screen on the router - maybe 192.168.1.255. Log in and look to see if a firewall or port blocking feature of the router has been turned on. You can discover the Router IP by opening a COMMAND PROMPT (black screen, white text), then typing ipconfig /all and "enter". The Gateway address will be displayed along with a lot of other information, including the IP of your PC.

Paper size won't print

First customize the paper size in the Page Setup. Secondly when you send command for print, change the paper size to custom size from the Printer Properties and click print. On the other hand, you can select the paper size from the printer's menu itself after sending the print command. Please make sure that the right driver of the printer is installed on your computer. Hope it will help and fix your problem.

My HP photosmart premium will not print black

Seems like the ink you are using is bad. It is thicker than what it is supposed be. If you are using HP ink, make sure it is not expired. If you are using a refilled ink or remanufactured ink cartridge, buy from someone else, not where you bought it last. You will need to clean printhead again. Also, to avoid this problem in future, the issue may be that there is too much ink gnk inside the printer. Where the printhead should sit on standby, the ink waste builds up. Clean that area with a butter knofe or plastic knofe. You may not have that issue of drying ink come back for a very long time. Ink Failure on HP photosmart premium C309g printer

Turn off the machine, unplug the power cord from the back of the machine, remove the ink cartridges (lift the lid up at the base of the control panel), wait 2 min, plug the power cord back in, press the on button, wait until the printer prompts that the ink cartridges are missing, then replace the ink cartridges. If this doesn't fix the problem you may have to re-prime the ink lines to clear the error. You can find instructions for this at http://www.ccl-la.com/blog/index.php/hp-photosmart-ink-system-failure-1/.

How do you choose the tray to print from. Photo

Hi,

Yes there is.
You can see on the printer panel, there is a button for "photo tray".
If the light is "on" it means the button has been pressed and the printer will try to engage the photo tray in the next print job.

If the light is "off" it means the printer will ignore the photo tray.

Cheers,

Ed
