My printer shut off.
Hardware failure: during the starting/boot process the processor loads the firmware, moves the printing heads and the rollers and the precision of their movement is checked. If something is not right the boot process is aborted and an error code is displayed on the small LCD screen.
If no code is displayed then the defect is in the printer's processor itself - if this is the case the printer is effectively dead: the only way to fix that is to replace the mainboard and that would cost more than a whole new printer.

Lower the USB speed on the product by turning off "High Speed USB". Following are instructions on how to do this from the Secondary Service Menu:
To access the Secondary Service Menu press the Menu button.
Now press the #2 button and use the < arrow to navigate to the High Speed USB selection.
Press Enter and then use the arrow key to go to Off and press Enter again.
Press the Cancel button twice to exit the Secondary Service Menu.

I will say for me, i would rather uninstall then reinstall with the installation disk where during the installation process you will have options to select the functions you want to install.

with the power on, press the down arrow button until the display reads " Configure Device" menu. Press the Select button and using the down arrow button, scroll through this menu until the display reads "Resets" and press the Select Button. Then press the down arrow button again until the screen reads "Reset Supplies" and press Select button. Once you get to this menu this is where you can reset the fuser and the Transfer belt count

Turn off the power by using the power
switch, wait at least 30 seconds, and then
turn on the power and wait for the device to
initialize.
If a surge protector is being used, remove
it. Plug the device directly into the wall
socket. Use the power switch to turn the
device on.
Laser scanners are not replaceable.
Replace the engine.

Excess cyan toner is on electrostatic transfer
Since you have Cyan toner in places where it should not be then the only possible cause is a defective Cyan Toner cartridge. I worked on one just last week where the customer complained about Magenta toner on their prints. I also noticed Magenta toner on the Transfer Belt just as you see Cyan toner on the Transfer Belt. I replaced the Magenta Toner Cartridge and everything cleared up nicely. The Transfer Belt Unit can also cause similar problems but it would not be ONLY one color like Cyan. It would be a mixture of all colors. My bet is replace the Cyan toner and you will be fine. If you have an old empty one just shake it up a bit and try it as well. This might allow you to verify before buying a new cartridge.

Printer says "ready" but won't print
try checking cable if you have another cable try that after rebooting computer! if that doesnt work go to hp's website look up the units driver for the correct operating system reinstall the drivers from hp's website then reboot and try your printer again it should work! 99.9 percent of time error printing to queue is a communication problem from the driver being corrupt or a error in your system registry.

HP Laser Jet 3055- "No print cartridge" message
This could also happen due to the censors.
Try these steps.
1. Take all the papers out from input tray.
2. Open the cart door & take the cart out,and let the door be open.
3. Turn Off the printer.
4. Clean the metal contacts on the cart.
5. Reinsert the papers & the cart.
6. Turn the printer on.
This could resolve the issue.
