NO PC told PAV means nothing, PAV is both laptop and desktops for decades 10,000 models,+ the button on the try must work, it's electrical. NO OS told is it windows, is it w8? or w7 or vista or XP> The OS windows , you open local explorer. (this PC) and right click the DVD drive and pick EJECT. that too must work both must, some APPS lock the DVD, , say a DVD player of any kinds power off the PC and turn it on and hammer esc key and at the prompt click F1 or F2 and go to BIOS page 1. now the front DVD tray eject works, (button physical) if not the DVD drive is JAMMED.

2007 made PC, 7 years old in 2015, is pc good other wise? I can tell what it had new. but gee most PC were upgraded the OS XP PC and came with VISTA READY, promise, DAY1. new so get your missing drivers at HP.com using your service tag # if you google for them you will get a VIRUS, all things XP;/VISTA in the wild (means not HP.com) are fully infected, cure #1, the omg simple cure, is turn off all sleep modes and use the power button to shut it off if done. this is a hide the problem cure. the real cure on all PCs on earth is good drivers from your OEM called HP.com omg came with Office 2003, day 1. sleep modes,(all) fail if drivers are bad. it's a classic problem. fol sure caused buy. 1: not using plug and play to all drivers in device manager and getting them all good. 2: upgrading the OS to w7 and there is no support for w7 here. 3: loading infected drivers, not from HP.com. oops you did that.? 4: MANY drivers must be good. , USB, GPU, and CPU and all bridge chips, , if any thing in device manger is wrong (view + hidden) that be wrong. and is the cause. #4 is not looking here first.

BIOS runs the fans and all fan paths must be kept lint free. at 25c room 50 is not bad. my gaming PC runs 30C on HDD 1,2,3, and GPU is.32C and CPU is cores 37C as I type now. (i have 4 fans in sys) My PSU (DPS) is 31C laptops run hotter, and is mostly caused by users crying like babies on fan noise. so the maker underclocks the PC to cool it I run fan over-rides on mine to run 25% more fan RPM to keep it cooler. and last longer./ 50C is not bad or wrong, NO CPU runs at 25C, ever, to do work(means clocking it) burns power in the CMOS logic. just like a car but way worse there. no room temp super conductors yet, my 1/2 joking a desktop works 10x better and can be actually made better easy

NO PC model told. w8 yes, did it come new w8? return it. try an external USB keyboard, 104 keys. if that works the PC is mostly ok. the keyboard inside the cable for it is loose or just bad. one more answer super easy fix. the keyboard has and auto repeat mode, for 40 years now control panel; click keyboard set 1st to long and 2nd to slow. fixed.!
