After that, you should see your home wifi name in the list (as in the photo in the tutorial.). If it's not showing up, you can try to change your home wifi settings to accept both 802.11b standart and 802.11g standart. (Because your device only supports 802.11b standart). Steps of changing these settings of a wirless modem changes from manufacturer to manufacturer. I hope this helps.

it is useless now, the world moved on, and ended this device. no support, HP will tell you the same. google can find 2002 MANUALS NOW GONE FOR EVER AT HP.COM MOST ARE DEAD NOW. FOR SURE BATTERY AND LCD DEAD.

This was a fun project. Here's how I did it. You'll need to download a freeware audio editor named Audacity. it's broken, get it fixed ! (omg labor costs huge) if wanting to spend huge cash on something worth $1 dead or $5 working right, (I see these for $1 at goodwill) then buy new batteries first. time to upgrade, this thing is obsolete now, zero HP support. the thing this old has 2 batteries not 1, and both are bad. now , as expected. nice ASR33 , teletype terminal you have there, clear caps. are you running on PDP-8 computer? from DEC (defunct too)

have you tried another Power Charger?

send it back these PDA devices are now legacy, what good is it. buy a used smart phone,, 10x better, really 100. end less apps. on cell. it will need a new main battery and the tiny one too,. all do this old., id send it back.

Are you using the factory adaptor to charge the device? The reason I ask is that some aftermarket chargers don't have the required amperage output on the USB port to charge some devices. If you are using an aftermarket charger, try purchasing one from HP directly or look for a charger with a USB port power rating of 4-5 amp. They can be purchased on eBay or Amazon for around $10.
