Why is hard water considered bad?

It is called "hard" because of all of the impurities that are in it. Such things as sulphur, iron, zinc, other minerals and such. As such it is not "pure" and therefore "Hard". It leaves deposits in the sink and other items. While minerals are necessary for life it is not always best to acquire them from your water.

My lap top has new hard drives. How do I reinstall my protection

It really depends on the software and the licensing associated with that license. Some software vendors require that you "uninstall" the software from the previous system. Not always possible if the hdd failed to begin with. In that case I'd contact the vendor and explain the issue and hope that they will either re-enable the license you have or give you another one. If it has a term limit (as in 1 year) and most of it is gone then I'd just go ahead and purchase another license.

Keep getting "Failed to Save File"msg when trying to save captured video to hard drive

There really isn't enough information here to assist. Need to know what type of system you are using to record the video, what type of video you are recording (ie 4K, etc), local or network drive, drive array, or external, if internal, what is the drive spin speed? All of this matters when attempting to save a video.

My hard drive has a password i can't remove it

I assume you mean the hard drive is encrypted and required a password to be able to access any of the content. Unfortunately, if you have lost the password and any of the recovery keys they would have provided when it was encrypted, all you can do is format the drive and lose whatever was on it. Short of telling you how to hack into a hard drive to decrypt (which is complicated, almost certain to fail if decent passwords were used and not something I could ethically share anyway), there is little you can do. The whole point of encrypting the hard drive is to prevent it being accessed without the password. Some companies may offer to take your money and 'hack' it for you. I would strongly recommend you don't use them. They will likely fail too but will gladly take your money.

Slow window 7

Yes, I think that could be the cause. You can defragment the drive and that could give the slightest improvement, add RAM might be an improvement, but mostly, your HDD might not have enough room for the required amount of VM (virtual memory). You didn't mention how big the harddrive; it might be fine. Have you checked for malware and spyware. They can certainly slow down a system.

Is it true that expired cake mixes can be fatal due to spores?? I find this really hard to believe but saw a post earlier today and need it verified. THANKS!

I remember hearing about this on the news within the last few years. I believe the conversations started because there was some sort of problem discovered regarding Bisquick (a recall or something). Since then, the "experts" say be careful eating any mix with flour (and flour itself I guess).Read about it here on Snopes:https://www.snopes.com/medical/toxins/pancake.aspEnjoy your pancakes, lol!

Buick 2007 runs against Rev limiter after changing intake gaskets

Extreme vacuum leak somewhere. Probably not sealed right front or rear Intake seal out or shifted, vacuum hose disconnected, missing a gasket somewhere else. Computer is trying to compensate causing the engine to rev excessively. I would start with checking all vacuum hoses, then gaskets anywhere you removed something could be a sensor gasket even. Make sure every wire and hose is connected. Also check ground wire going from engine to battery and engine to body if missing or broken repair.
