How many songs will a 64 GB Hard drive hold, I looked it up and it said 42,666
That is asking how big is a rock. What is the format.wav files are much larger than .mp3 files. What is the bit rate for .mp3? 64, 128, 256 320 kbps?. I Have over 14000 and it takes 406 GB. that said I only use .wav or 320 kbps, each is a file that may contain 20-30 songs, or it may 1 hour long. So That drive will hold more songs than you have, and if you think it is not large enough buy 128 GB or 256 GB. personally I would not worry about it,
I want to unlock my HARD DISC, BUT I FORGET MY PASSWORD
You might be able to remove the drive and have it connected to another computer with a device. May want to pay a computer tech or computer repair store to do the work. They may have a bootable CD that can access it depending version of Windows or other system.
Is it possible to recover damaged hard drive recovery?
You may need to pay a technician at a store to help you.
If you want to do it yourself, there are many software products available online to try to see if data can be recovered from a USB hard drive, but I suspect from your question's wording that you woud have a difficult time learning how to do so. You have not stated the type of damage, or the kind of error messages you receive, so it is not easy to suggest anything other than paying a service to attempt to recover it for you.
