Check that the cable isn't loose by wiggling it around at the connection to the monitor. It's possible that the backlight could be failing on the monitor, if you see a very faint image on it.

Hello, would like to ask about my hanspree tv, 2
The backlight controller is most likely faulty. It could be bad capacitors again, or the inverter board itself may need to be repaired - possibly faulty inverter(s). Try shining a torch close to the screen and see if you can see anything on the screen.

Where can you purchase a new power supply for a
try a search engine by the card code. You cannot find it by the tv model because the same card can be used in many brands and models. Open the tv inside and read the power board model or serial etc. write down everything and start google. Perform a perseverent search. :)
Got sound but no picture LCD is not even lighting
If an LCD TV has sound but no picture do the following:
Use the source button to ensure that source is not set to the wrong input.
Try unplugging power cord for ten minutes, to ensure it is not a setting problem.
Check all the video cables at the back of TV.
Check Light /Color settings.
If problem persist and does not depend on external receiver or settings, then it is likely an internal fault.
If it has sound but no picture then one of the following parts is faulty, and must be tested and replaced:
The inverter is the high voltage board that provides variable power to the backlight lamp. This is the most common. When inverter is faulty you can get no picture, or a very dim picture that can only be seen by pointing a torch light with a 45 degree angle on the LCD surface from very near distance.
The inverter must be tested by reading voltages with a multimeter.
The LCD ribbon cable/LCD display and connectors.
This is quite uncommon, but happens. If the TV had been hit or moved the LCD cable may have slipped out, or the LCD connector may be damaged.
The LCD controller board.
This is the board that controls the video signal, it is difficult to test, as there is need to read determined values on IC pins. To test this board you need to purchase a service manual and follow the troubleshooting diagrams on service manual.
Input/Output Signal boards.
This are the boards where you connect the video and audio cables, if a signal board is defective, then you may get no picture on particular inputs located on faulty board.
If under warranty contact the manufacturer ringing the number on the user manual.
If you want to repair at your own expenses, just locate any good qualified repairer.
I have a 42" LCD
If they are all coming from the same physical source (please clarify) there is little you can do other than to look in thge audio menu of the TV and switch on auto volume if your particular model has that option.
I hope I have been of help but please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions.
I appreciate your vote if you appreciate my reply.

My Hannspree TV volume goes
there's no faulty parts on your unit but sure that you have a dry joints on the sound amplifier section.
Look for a qualified technician to re-solder for a dry joint on the said section and it will fix the problem.
If you have knowledge in soldering then open the back panel of your tv.
Then observe first because you have to pull-out some connector from the main board.
Remember that anything you pull-out will be back to their position as you finished resoldering.
Try to trace the connectors of your speaker to the main board.
It is connected to ic which have a heat sink. That's the sound amplifier ic.
Find the cold solder around there then resolder it.
You can try the tv, if you hit the cold solder then intermittent sound will be cured.
Remember that before you try turning on the unit be sure that you returned the connectors to its original position. gud luck buddy...
Thanks for using fixya...

How do i set the correct time on my television
On your remote press Menu and look for settings. Try to find a Time/Date option. Sometimes if you have a universal remote this will not work and you must manually press the menu button directly on the monitor near the power button.
Hope this helps

Hi i have a blue
Please clarify how you are feeding the TV, is it from the aerial (antenna) or cable, or using a scart lead etc. It sounds like it is not seeing the video input but is seeing the audio. If it is from a scart lead the lead may be faulty, or if some other route then please clarify.
I hope I have been of help but please do not hesitae to to ask if you have any further questions.
I appreciate your vote if you appreciate my reply.

Although we have no additional
Hi rinkejus.
http://www.hdtvreview.com/pdf/hannspree-hannslounge-32-manual.pdf
This link is the user manual for your tv. If you already have it, don't bother downloading it. Follow page 75 and 76, which describe the audio settings. Play with the equalizer until, hopefully, you find a setting you are happy with. You can also play with the sound effect, as music tends to "broaden" more readily than speech. Also, if you are set on surround, most of the speech will be in the centre channel - which isn't there because it requires an external speaker.
From what you describe, you don't have a fault of any kind, just the features of your tv are having an undesired effect. Good luck. Please vote 4 hands if this was useful.
