I have a Haier 4.0 frige; I had ice around the freezer section that pounded out with a knife; now it's not cooling. Seems to be running. Help!

by using a knife , it is very possible that you punctured the evaporator element as it is very thin aluminium sheeting if that is the case , there is no repair so it is junk you can talk wit a haier service agent to see in a spare evaporator is available and if it can be installed but the cost of the job will be close to a new unit lesson one --- only use hot water or fans to defrost fridges and freezers

Haier Model No. HSA04WNC WW/BPG fridgefreezer loud rumbling noise

Rumbling sound is not good. Check to see if it is making the noise with the door open. If so - it probably is a fan blade scraping. If it keeps making the noise - it is likely the compressor - either a faulty relay or capacitor. Or maybe the compressor is faulty. You'll need to be handy with a multimeter to check these out though.

Hello, my refrigerator has stopped

How old is the refrigerator? Think about it's age. Would it be better and cheaper in the long run to get a new one?

I have a haier model # htq18jabww-01 and the freezer seems to b working fine but the fridge does not seem to be cold at all...any soultions??

The "Cold-to-Coldest" adjuster in the freezer steals chilled air from the refrigerator to add more to the freezer. It's a mechanical damper. Set it fully CCW to cold (warmest position). I also put duck tape over half the chilled air outlets in the freezer to increase the chilled air pressure feeding the refrigerator section. Set the thermostat in the refrigerator to 8 or 9 and the freezer works fine and everything in the refrigerator is 38F.

Can I remove the freezer compartment from my Haier HSE12WNAWW?

not possible to remove the freezer the most likely [problem is that the seals around the freezer door are not sealing properly that allows the atmosphere into the freezer and the humidity then freezes and turns to ice , causing the problem adjust the door and change that door seal when defrosting the freezer, remove all the frozen food, and place a fan at the open door atmospheric temp air will defrost a badly iced freezer in around 1 hour with the use of the fan on high speed
