Self cleaning programs break things 80% of the time. You should never ever use that cycle. 650'F is too brutal to elements, fans, latches and circuit boards that are above the oven. I have never known one with a manual latch. You need a new stove or a GE Technician service call. Try and light oven manualy first if it does not light check to see if gas has been turned off to oven mistake Check if fitted timer is on manuel or pilot is blocked and needs cleaning

Using the Self Cleaning always breaks ovens. We see it here all the time. It superheats the oven to 700' and overheats electronics, breaks door switches/locks and burns out elements and fans. It could also be sensor related.You need a service call from someone who has experience with that model. Control boards and touchscreens are expensive to replace on a hunch.

Possibly a faulty switch contact.

The F7 error code means that a function key on the touchpad is shorted or stuck, the F7 can be cleared by pushing the clear/off button,if the error code returns the touchpad would need to be replaced.

Sounds like you are missing a leg of power to the oven. The power is not correct. This unit needs 220V. You will have to check to make sure the power supply cord is connected correctly to the terminal block of the oven. Where the wires are connected to the oven block, you should have 120V from left to center, 120V from right to center and 220V from the two outer terminals. Right now it sounds like you only have 120V going to the oven. The display board operates with 120V so you will see the display but the elements need 220V to work properly. BE Careful, this is high voltage so call who ever installed it to check that power.

A lot of electric fan ovens run the fan until the oven cools. This ventilated the cavity.

Set the clock.

The hinges are obstructed or the springs have been weakened by heat. Correction of the problem requires removal of he oven and disassembly to gain access to the affected parts. Not an easy job because those parts are enclosed in the outer shell of the oven.

Check that whatever switches the light on and off is making good contact. My GE fridge has a bottle cap glued to the inside of the door, crude but it works. Some are magnetically operated, so you could test with a rare earth magnet. For a mere $73 you can purchase a new switch.

your oven does not generate steam, only pulls moisture out of what you you place inside of it, poultry being the highest moisture content, i would look into what you are cooking

The F7 error indicates a stuck keypad error on GE ovens. This actually could be a stuck or shorted key, a problem with the ribbon cable between the keypad and the control board, or a problem with the electronic oven control. On a number of GE ovens, the issue is with the ribbon cable. There could be insufficient insulation shielding the individual conductors in the wiring harness, a broken conductor (single wire) or corrosion at the connection to the control board. Sometimes the keypad or the control board need to be replaced. Make sure to disconnect the power (unplug or turn off at the circuit breaker) before attempting to do any diagnostics.
