When an "F" and a number appear in the display and the cooktop beeps you have a function error code. Touch the CONTROL LOCK pad. Disconnect power to the cooktop and then reconnect. If an F-code appears again, call for service.

I had a stove that wouldn't work after the breaker switched off even after resetting the breaker. I had to unplug the stove and then plug it back in to get it to work again. I'm not sure if this will help our not but it's worth a try.

Just lift it up. At the seems on each corner, pull up and it will lift.

The problem is with the orifice leading to the burner. If it is not centred then you will get yellow flame. Or you are impeding the flow out of the burner and it is not mixing properley. I would pull the burners apart and make sure everything is clear and the orifice is centred.
