Keeps beeping and displaying approaching turn
The "Approaching Turn" message is coming from an active navigation on your device. To turn it off, press and hold on the left side of the bezel (GPS), then press the lap/reset/quit key to exit the compass screen. You should then be in the GPS menu. There should be an item in this menu titled "Stop XXXX" where XXXX is "Navigating", or "Back to Start", or something like that. Select that option, and it should stop the navigation, and eliminate the "Approaching Turn" messages.

I have Garmin Forerunner 201 that works perfectly except when it gets a small tap or a gentle shake the display disappears completely and I have to start the unit up from scratch. Is this reparable?
