Bought a galaxy 98vhp--200 watts--piece of JUNK!!

this radio is a ham radio. It should put out 200 w on the ham freqs but it is only supposed to put out no more than 4 - 5 watts on am. Can do 50 on SSB and if you bought it without realizing it,and now you\'re mad because it won\'t do what it is supposed to. next time read the small print and you won\'t be out so much money.

How to put tweety bird sounds in d104 mic

buy a noise toy so as you don't mess up your radio installing one.A noise toy will just plug to the back of you radio and your mic should plug into it.You can buy them for about the same price as a board and when you get rid of the radio the noise toy can come with you but you have to leave the other one installed.

WHEN I KEY THE MIKE THE NEEDLE ON THE RADIO GOES FROM 3 TO 1

every day? can you add more info.. the more noise on the RX end will make the needle higher then the TX setting so if this is a noisey day and you have 3-9 s-units on the rx yes a needle will drop. without having a watt meter to see if your power is dropping when you TX is different.. add a inline watt meter and make sure you have a decent power source. and TX and see what it is showing for wattage. if it drops then check power supply first make sure its giving enough amps. then next chk swr's and radio..
