What is the capacity of Frigidaire washer GLTF1240A

The Frigidaire GLTF1240A clothes washer has a tub capacity of 2.65 cubic feet. Under typical conditions, based on a yearly average of 392 loads of laundry, the Frigidaire GLTF1240A is estimated to use 341 kilowatts of energy per year. Obviously, this number will vary depending on things like the size of loads that you wash, and temperature at which you wash your clothes. Also, this figure is calculated according to a test done by the US Department of Energy which takes into account the energy consumed by the washer as well as the energy needed to heat the water with an electric water heater. If you use a gas water heater you will probably use fewer kilowatt hours but you will consume gas to heat the water.

Its estimated water use is 9,806 of gallons per year. It is estimated to use 9.4 gallons per cycle, per cubic foot of tub volume. You can use this "per cycle, per cubic foot" to compare washers against each other. The lower the number, the more efficiently the washing machine uses water, assuming your clothes are equally clean after being washed in either washing machine.

Frigidaire Front Loader Ripping Clothes

Frigidaire washer sucks. I'm tired of this useless machine ripping my clothes. You need to change your bellows(boot) kits around the door on front load. I have changed this kit twice now and each time, I spent $200 in repair fees. I wished I never bought this washer. Will never recommend to anyone i know.

What is error code E23 for the Frigidaire Affinty

before buying anythings, you have too check the manual too see if you didn't put it in factory test mode by accident. the manual is suppose to be under the top,(two screws on the back)
After that, second thing you have too do, remove the back (six screws) the drain pump is located under the the baril. there is a black rubber tube attached to it. In this tube, there is a basket that keed hard thing away from the pump. In my case, some hair pin pass the basket and block the pump rotor. The computer of the machine told me it was Error E23 but after cleaning, everything work like new!!

So try cleaning it yourself, it is easy even with basic skill. You will need a star screwdriver, a scare-screw driver, pliers.

Remember, better have the machine empty before doing anything, because you'll be working on the DRAIN LINE.

Hope that help someone.

I had a e66 error on my frigidaire model # fasg7073na2 and it said it was the door switch i changed it and the thermo limiter and the all the sensor and the control board and it still says door open

It could be a mechanical problem. Check that the door seal is not swollen or bulged. Is the door latch tight when you close the door? Check the door latch lever for alignment and wear.

Trying to find the capacity of the washer on the Frigidaire Affinty ATF7000EGO not listed in manual or on line and even customer support didn't know.

3.5 cubic foot or 99 litre. No specific max weight of clothes but can be filled to capacity as long as clothes are loose and free to move about.

Frigidaire Washer Model FAHE4044MWO We need to find out what is making the the loud whirring in spin cycles? My husband says it sound like a bearing going bad. But I cannot find a part for a bearing.

Pretty sure you will need the motor since that is where the bearing is located. Get the part # off the motor and search by that.

E90 error code on fridgidare front load washer

The error code E90 is just a group error code. It is indicating a communication error between the two boards in your machine. It does not indicate where the problem may be. A power glitch may have caused the E90 error code or a loose connection. https://www.appliancepartspros.com/answers-for-frigidaire-control-electrical-137006000-ap4358809-question-70945.html

I have a Frigidaire Gallery Series front load dryer bouncing between PAU & F03 error codes. What part do I need to order so that I can replace it?

F03 is heating element circuit issue and PAU is drive motor power interruption. I would imagine the F03 could be cause by the same power issue that effects a PAU. The list of PAU probable cause is; Control board Door switch Thermal limiter Motor problems I see one common denominator; the thermal limit.

The door on my fridgidaire atf8000fs1 sags so it

Frigidaire washer door sagging so strike and door lock not lining up correctly. After a period of time front load washer doors tend to start to drop below normal position. The glass in the front doors are very thick, heavy and only supported by plastic inner frame. This combined with continued opening and closing will over time make your front load door start to sage. Fortunately Frigidaire makes a door shim kit for this problem. After you have ordered and received the shim kit part #137309800. Start with removing the three screws holding the door to the machine. Lay the door face down on a soft surface as to no scratch the front of the door and glass. Remove the screws securing the outer frame and with a very small flat screw driver shim it between the inner and outer panels. Make sure to note the position of the frame and glass. Next remove the inner plastic frame, you should have access to the hinge at this point. Install the shim kit according to the instructions that come with the kit. Reinstall the hinge, inner frame and screws. Install the door back onto the washer, your door strike and lock should line up in the correct position at this time. i got this answer at http://www.appliancerepairquestion.com/2013/04/frigidaire-atf8000fs1-washer-door-not.html

Frigidaire afinity front loader washer wont stopped spinning

It's either the control panel, or the spin speed sensor (if there is one). Only someone with a multimeter will be able to tell for sure.

I have a FRIGIDAIRE FTF530ES front load washer that the drum doesn't turn at all.

Did you remove the locking bolts from the back of the drum? If you did and it's a new machine, contact he retailer for warranty. If not, probably the belt shot loose from the drum and it means you have to disassemble the entire machine to fix it.
