I have a frigidaire ffef3017zw 30" freestanding electric range and the stove top and the oven wont heat. The lights come on but nothing works.

Good Afternoon Larz, thank you for your post! From the information you have provided the cooktop and oven on your Frigidaire range, FFEF3017ZW, are not working. This could be an internal issue with your control panel, a wiring harness, or the terminal black. Since it could be an issue with the electrical component, I would suggest having a professional technician out for a proper diagnosis. This will help you to avoid any unnecessary part purchases or improper disassembly of the range. I hope this information is helpful. -Matt

Frigidaire error code f27 Ovens

Most error codes can be cleared just by unplugging the unit and re-plugging it back in. If this doesn't clear it then I would go to Frigidaire's web site and search for tech support. I did some checking with Frigidaire and they don't show a code f27 I was wondering if maybe it was showing two codes F2 and F7? so it might look like F2,7?

Hey Mark, thank you for your submission! Based off the information you have provided your Frigidaire oven is no longer heating up after it was cleaned. The oven may need to be reset in order to help clear out any miscommunication. In order to reset the oven you would need to flip the household circuit breaker off for at least ten minutes. Frigidaire Gallery series model GLEB30T8CBA key pad not working

Hello Dana, thank you for your post! From my understanding your Frigidaire oven is displaying an error code of "F8" and your keypad is not working properly. An "F8" error stands for runaway temperature (overheating). I would recommend performing a reset on your oven and you can do that by disconnecting the power cord for at least ten minutes. If that does not help correct your issue then you could have a problem with your RTD (Resistance Temperature Detector) or the EOC (Electronic Oven Control). I would suggest having a professional technician out to perform a proper diagnosis and repair. I hope this information is helpful. -Matt

How do I clean my Frigidaire electric oven, Model FEF352AWF?

See page 13 for specific instructions. ShopYourWay FRIGIDAIRE Free Standing Electric ShopYourWay As tedious as it may seem I suggest that cleaning the unit by hand is the preferred process. Most failures that I have experienced have occurred just after the clean cycle is completed. There is a lot of stress during self clean and critical components are stressed and are more likely to fail. On two occasions I have had a failure days before family dinners. Usually in preparation for family we had been cleaning the oven. Both the temperature sensor and heating element have failed. With a free standing oven repairs are a lot easier than with a built in wall oven requiring saw horses to remove and set. In any case plan to clean long before company in the event a repair results.
