You have to push the rear of the unit up slightly to to disengage the bracket hooks from the back of the microwave. Doing all that while not dropping the microwave is the fun part.

Hello friend, thank you for your inquiry! From my understanding you need assistance removing the door from your Frigidaire microwave. In order to assist you further I would need to have your model number. You can locate the serial tag (which lists your model number) on the inside left had wall. If the light comes on during cooking then the bulb is ok.. in all probability the problem is the door switch that senses when teh door is open and activates the light... Hope that helps..

You need to remove the inside part of door to gain access to mounting screws.

Their is nothing to reset. Most common problem is a defective door switches. If you know electronics you can pull the covers read the diagrams and check the door switches.

Hey JT Tai, I appreciate your post! The symbol at the top left hand side of your display could be child lock symbol or vent symbol. If it is the child lock you should be able to press and hold the stop/cancel button down for 3 seconds to release the child lock.

If the light is on for the vent I would seek assistance from a professional for proper diagnosis and repair to be completed on your microwave. I hope this is helpful. -Matt

Two things could have happen to your machine. One the magnetron is dead and needs replacement. Second the high tension power which supplies power to the magnetron could have been screwed up and need to be replaced or repaired. The fact that the fan is not running I suspect it may be a power board issue.

There is a safety interlock that the door actuates that lets the oven run. If the door is bent, the interlock switch is not in the right position and the oven does not think that the door is closed. There is not usually an adjustment on the interlock stud. You might try to re-align the door.

generally speaking you buy and OTR microwave by width, i.e., 30" wide is the standard width of all most all OTR . so any 30' wide microwave will fit. when talking about cubic feet, they usually are talking about the interior capacity of the microwave. but if you really want to know cubic feet of above dimensions, then multiply all three together and divide by 1728. (4.036 cuft)
