E522BLX Freezer is fine but fresh food area is not
Fan is within the evap of the freezer in most of these boxes. Check to see if you have frost building up on rear of wall inside freezer, if you do then you have a defrost problem, more than likely the defrost heater is defective.

Fisher & Paykel E402BRXFD
Generally on these models they rely on cold air being pumped fr\om the
freezer to the fridge and have a adjusting device to control the flow,
you need to locate and check this is free and working properly. Another
reason for freezer ice up is a shortage of gas in the unit, this is
usually unfixable as the leak can rarely be found as it usually occurs
within the cabinet case. Sorry to say it would then be a throw away.

Lower compartment is not cold but upper
I am assuming this is a freezer on top model.
You have a defrost problem and the accumulated defrost restricts the cold air from the refrigerator section.

The fridge is not defrosting and the fan inside is stoping
One of 3 things cause a ref not to defrost. Defrost timer may not be advancing to the defrost position on the timer...The defrost thermostat, located on the evaporator in the freezer, is measures open bad)...or you have a bad defrost heater. If you have an electronic defrost control, which is used on most Maytag, Jenair, or Amana units, this could be your problem. If you turn the unit off for 24 hours to let it defrost manually then it will last for about 2 weeks before freeze up again.

Water inside
HI,
your drain is clogged. you may have a catch for your drain where you see leak coming from. that may pull off and you can see if their is trash build up in it. you are going to need to take the panel off the back of freezer. inside back of freezer you will see screws. they will need to come out, If you have ice maker that will need to be removed also. once back panel is off you will see your coils beneath the coils it will most likely have a sheet of ice. turn machine off and take a hair dryer and defrost the ice. once ice is gone take a cup of hot water and run thru drain to see if unclogged. repeat if drain is not clear. the ice in drain tube will eventually un clog. use a steamer. much quicker.
any further question let me know.
thanks,

Fridge tripping the electricity
Hi
this sounds like the defrost heater is faulty. because at a certin time the m/c brings on the heater one every 24 hours that is why it is only tripping out at that time.

Fisher & paykel E440TRT does not turn off, even
Hi and welcome to FixYa,
Your description indicates that the compressor is locked in continuous operation. The component responsible for limiting the compressor's operation based on the inside temperature is the thermostat. That then would be the primary suspect. The thermostat triggers the electronic controller board that in turn engages the relay that does the actual switching of the compressor. Diagnosis would be better off using a continuity tester (DVM/VOM) and process of elimination of the components involved.
Good luck and thank you for using FixYa.
