Pairing emerson em-230 headset to computer
Put that computer into pairing/search mode. Hold that headset's [On] button until blue & red lights flash. That computer should then find that headset if within 5 feet.
Bluetooth paired but not connected?
There are several kinds of Bluetooth Profiles. If you're only looking to send and receive phone phone calls, A Bluetooth headset only needs a Hands Free Profile or HFP.
The EM227 cannot be used as a stereo headset because a different Bluetooth Profile is required. If this is what you're intending to use it for, You may want to invest in Bluetooth enable Studio Headphones.
Try these steps to Troubleshoot the issue:
1. Make sure that your EM227 has been fully charged. the User Guide suggests that you charge the Headset for at least 5 hours before you use it for the 1st time.
2. Go to your device's Bluetooth Settings and scan for nearby devices.
3. Turn ON your EM227 Bluetooth Headset and place it in pairing mode. The Bluetooth indicator light will flash RED and BLUE.
Don't Forget to keep your Bluetooth Headset and your device within 3 feet of each other.
4. If your device asks for a Pass Code, try entering "0000" ( Four Zeroes)
Once you've paired the device, the LED indicator should now blink as a steady Blue light. Try making a test call.
Remember, The EM227 was only designed for Hands free calling ONLY.

I can't connect my Emerson Wireless Bluetooth to
with the bluetooth on, hold down the round button for about 8 to 10 seconds and the light will start to flash red and blue. That means the headset is in pairing mode. The pass key should be 0000 or 1234.let me know if that works! Thanks
The power button seems to be broken
I also own this product. Had problems with charging light, charging capacity, and powering on to pair with my Galaxy3. After having all these issues I decided
get to the root of the dysfunctions! What I
disovered:
- the battery is on opposite side to indicator light and power/volume button-IT IS UNCOMMON TYPE AND WOULD NOT TAKE A CHARGE- TESTED AFTER CHARGING FOR OVER TWO HOURS
- ALL of the headset wiring is low low grade, very thin and some is left exposed without insulating coating while twisted up and smashed into small compartment causing a short or impairment of product powering on or charging properly!
- Not to mention the contact switch for power button is prone to break due to the poor quality of parts and construction!
- Im considering rewiring mine with better grade copper and a compatible rechargeable power supply. Wish me luck !
- I am very disappointed with the internal construction and materials BECAUSE THEY LOOK AND FEEL GREAT TO WEAR JUST NOT SURE HOW THEY COULD SOUND.....YET!
