would not recommend it but if the tower is very sturdy and doesn't have a flimsy cover it should hold the wait of the monitor without any problem just make sure not to set the monitor on the side where the mother board is because it may damage it if any kind of flexing is done in that area

I have an emachineEL1200. unfortunately it did not

Your best bet is call a tech to remove them or order a restore disk on ebay. If you tell me the name of the program that is popping up I may be able to point you in the direction of removing it. You can try a program called Malwarebytes go to there website and download the software do the 14 day trial and run the scan see if that will remove it if not you will have to do other more technical actions

After power on my eMachines

Disconnect the power cable open the case and pull the CR 2032 battery out for a minute. That will reset the BIOS. If you have no Beep Codes at all the MoBo might be dead. If this were just a video issue there'd be Beep codes. If there's more than one stick of RAM Pull one try to boot then do same with second stick. if there's only one stick of RAM try reseating it.

I've got an emachines eT1641-02w

Usually replacing the coin cell battery fixes the no boot problem. Look on the motherboard around the processor socket. Electrolytic capacitors can overheat. If you see any of them that are bulging (top is domed instead of flat), they are bad. Trying to replace all the bad ones is tedious and expensive. May be cheaper to replace the motherboard.

My Emachine W5243 is getting

Your computer is running for sh-- because you probably have too many items starting up at boot time and running in the back ground. You have to go into your msconfig files and services,.msc files to turn off unnecessary operations. And virus programs are notorious for using up memory resources and turning computer into a snail. If you have one, get rid of it and stay off the p-rn sites. It is not the cpu or power supply responsible for the issue. It is the user at fault for overloading the machine's resources. And a new computer will get just as bad if you continue to employ the same habits as you have with this unit.

Emachines D620 laptop - hanging

Hi My cousin had a laptop that ran extremely hot. My solution was to put it up on blocks. Or you can space two books apart, rest the laptop on them and see if the problem goes away.. Two kids Lincoln logs would be perfect. Might save you a trip to the repair shop. Good luck Joe

No power to EL1852

You're talkign about an emachines computer. If you don't have power.. things to check:Cabling..outlet, etc.. is the outlet is good..cable is good..Next thing to consider, assuming the box hasn't been damaged (lightning/water/etc)... is the powersupply. It's likely a local repair center can check/replace that for you... if its not that, you're in for a new motherboard.. (read--upgrade).. on a positive side..your data should be intact.

Emachines forgot password WINDOWS 7 HOME PREMIUM

You Need To open The CPU(Or tower) to acces the motherboard, the you need to find the CMOS jumper and switch it one spot over the CLR or clear, that will clear the password. If that don't work remove the battery on the motherboard for few seconds then reinstall it. Good luck.
