I have restord my emachines computer to factory settings and now it running slow what can i do to speed it up again
add more ram is the best way of speeding up a computer
you might have to many programs running at the same time putting to much strain on the CPU
try uninstalling a few unnecessary programs
click start control panel administrive tools computer management disk management right click on your drive select properties click tools you should see click check now click start tick in both boxes this will schedule to on restart
do not have any input while chkdsk utility is in progress any might further damage your computer
scroll to the bottom toolbar bottom of screen right click you can select task manager applications also processes you will see whats running on your computer and ticking over if you see
something running that you dont need running select end now then you might uninstall that particular program you might have virus slowing your computer you might need to update your graphics card drivers
If your computer came with a motherboard disc the drivers could be on it
Click start control panel administrative tools computer management device manager scroll to display adapters + to expand you might see a yellow question exclamation mark ? mark ! or a red x right click select reinstall drivers
if you dont have a disk with the drivers you have to download them
this should speed up your computer
hope this helps you
How to erase hard drive
One way is to mount it in another computer as a secondary drive and format it there (might be easier).

And i want to enlarge it
Click Start/Control Panel/Display when the display window opens click
the Appearance tab. Look down near the bottom of the window and Change
the Font Size.
MONITOR WON'T STAY ON. not connected message then it goes off
Hook a spare monitor to the computer, if okay! problem in the original monitor, if both show the same symptom, it means the Video Graphics Card in the computer is defective. If possible change the video cord from the computer to the monitor, sometimes these cords fail.

Emachines et1331 card reader driver
You should download the driver again for them and just run it into computer ..The driver it is available on the support site of the manufacturer..choose teh correct model and the right operation system so that it iwll work proper..To be sure that the driver it is all you need..just take a look in the device manager ..if the card reader appear under devices but either unrecognized or in yellow with a exclamation sign on it ..it means the devices are working ..but just end the driver ..if you changed the operation system ..you need the drivers for it to match .by the way ...if you installed windows 7 on 64 ..the drivers should be for 64 system too ..here are the drivers for this model
http://support.gateway.com/us/en/emac/product/default.aspx?tab=1&modelId=1811download and install the chip-set drivers ..In there should be teh driver for the-card reader too ..do not be alarmed if the drives are not displayed ..it may be the case that it will display just the one used and when you use them ..Just install the driver s and after that take a look into the device manager and see if they are present there.. to do so click right on computer ..and choose properties and in there select device manager ..If they seam not to be present click right on storage devices..and select scan for hardware changes ..and will add them without driver if they are detected..If no detection is displayed it means the reader is not functional anymore or it cables are disconnected or damaged ..and this is the reason for refusing to load drivers..it simply do not see any device in the system ..In this case get another card reader or use an external one ..
