My electrolux eod33002 bottom oven does not heat

If youhave a ELECTROLUX electric Cooker or Fan Ovenwhich is not heating it could be one of the following problems.

1, If the fan motor in theback of the oven is going round and the temperature light is on (normallylittle red light), but there is no heat then you will probably need a new ovenelement, these are generally very easy to fit and readily available from our websitethese can be tested with a electric meter.
To gain access to the ELECTROLUX element you willhave to remove the back plate from inside the oven. Once removed you will seethe fan and element, if you look closely at the element you willprobably see a small hole burnt in it where it has blown. Sometimes howeverthere is no evidence of a fault but the element is opencircuit i.e. broken inside the element casing, either way it will needreplacing. Some elements will are fixed from inside the oven and some are heldin place by nuts from the rear of the machine.

2, If your ELECTROLUXfan oven is getting warm but takes a very long time to cook or is burning thefood more on one side than the other, then you need to check if your oven fan motor isworking you will see the blade turning fast if it is ok. if the element isheating but the fan motor is notblowing the heat into the oven then you need To replace the oven fan motor is alittle more expensive and a bit more involved.
3. If you have the opposite problem i.e. your ovenis over heating and burning everything then you will need to replace your ELECTROLUXoven thermostat

4, A quite common and easily overlooked answer isif your ELECTROLUX oven is not working at all i.e. noheat and no fan then the chances are that someone has put the oven timer into AUTOmode, simply put oven back to MANUAL mode and all should be working again.

How do I stop an Electrolux double oven displaying a code F10 from beeping.

To cancel the F10 error, you need to unplug the oven or shut it off at the circuit breaker. Usually this error means that the oven is detecting a runaway temperature. Either the RTD (resistance temperature detector) sensor probe, the electronic oven (EOC) or the wiring is faulty. You can check which one is bad by testing the resistance. The RTD sensor is on the back wall of the oven near the top of the cavity. It's somewhat easier to check the wire at the EOC. Unplug the connector and measure the resistance between the two wires. The resistance should be about 1100 Ohms in a room temperature environment. If you get the incorrect resistance, remove the sensor from the oven and check the resistance at the sensor. If you get the same faulty reading at the sensor and at the EOC, the sensor is probably bad. If the resistance is 1100 Ohms at the sensor, the wiring is bad. If the resistance is correct at all points, the EOC needs to be replaced. Please add a comment with your oven's model number. I will try to find a source with the correct parts. I hope this helps. Oven temperature sensor

The Electrolux ovens usually used PTC thermistor PT500. Resistance of PTC sensor depending on ambient temperature and should be around 550 ohms on ambient temperatures between 20-30 Celsius. I would like to check insulation rasistance between metalic housing and each connection terminal. The rasistance should be higher than 2 MOhms. Dado

Electrolux E36DF76EPS Why does the lock light keep flashing ( note oven works normally )

Hello Thecarsons, thank you for your post!

I understand that the lock light on your Electrolux range keeps flashing and everything else is working properly. This could be a potential problem with your latch or control panel. I would recommend looking over the latch or strike for any visible damage. If you do not see any, I would suggest performing a reset on your range. You can reset your range by disconnecting the power cord or flipping the household circuit off for at least ten minutes. If that does not resolve your problem you may need to have a technician out to your home to provide a proper diagnosis and repair. This will help you avoid any unnecessary part purchases. -Matt
