Is it 230 volts or 110? What compressor are you talking about need model number to help you.

it is located on the 4 port manifold on the bottom of the pressure switch

you need to check for a bad capacitor first which it might not have... then suspect a bad motor. after research it appears you might have two caps on top of the motor

20 ft/lbs re-tighten after a week, check monthly.

check your drive belt. it is likely loose

general rule of thumb is 3.75 cfm per hp.

long overdue for an answer. likely a split valve plate gasket or split interstage tube. cover the inlet filter on each cylinder with your hand. If good suction, it is ok. If it has low suction or is blowing hot air out, you have a valve or gasket problem.
