Mouse wont work

You mouse does not work? First few things I would check is make sure your mouse is plugged in all the way if its a ps/2 style mouse check to make sure none of the pins are bent ps/2 style is round. If your mouse is usb try moving it to another usb port also make sure the mouse drivers/software is installed

Setup cannot copy the file:p3.sys

This has to be a problem with your installation disc itself make sure it is not scratched. If it is a backup copy the files may have gotten corrupted. You will need to a get a new copy of the installation disc to be able to install.

Etower 400i - green power button stuck

Hi,

Lightly tapping with your finger tip should free it.  Alternately you may use a dull pointed object like the non-writing end of a ball pen and knock on the stuck switch.  If neither will free the stuck switch, you may need something thin yet strong to slightly snap it off its current backward angle and set to realign properly. The idea is to squeeze the thin whatever between the green button and the housing and force realign.  A fingernail pusher would be ideal.

Good luck and kind regards.

Etower 633id runs very slow. Only has 64MB of RAM.

Normally upgrading bios does not require flashing the bios. But in order to find out the max amount you can upgrade too requires some info off the motherboard. You need to get the model number off the board to look up the info

I have an etower 633

your machine is a little on the old side and can only hold a maximum of 256mb. That is 128mb chip per slot. Crucial does not sell it so your best bet would be an ebay search. you do not have to flash your bios to use the max ram, but you should check to see if there are other reasons to do so.

Flash drive ports on teh fron wont work on pc

If your system is USB 1 rather than USB 2 then some flash drives will not work. Not all usb 2 flashdrives are backwards compatible. My kids flasdrives will only work on my usb2 ports & will not work at all on my wife's computer which has the older usb 1 ports.

I just purchased a HP

Hi Angela'
Usually printers are shipped without USB cables.
There is no particular cable you need for your printer.
It is a standard USB printer cable which you can ask for at your local computer store.

Computer won't reboot

Check your BIOS settings, specifically the diskette drive setting. Next, check the cabling to the drive itself. Your problem may have nothing to do with the diskette drive, but check it out. Next, have someone download hard drive diagnostics for the brand of drive in the machine. You could have errors on the drive, and a diagnostic program may locate, repair them. The startup disks, these do a full system restore, reinstall of the operating system? The machine will boot from the first startup disk and begin the reload process?

Etower 667

Nearly all computers made in recent years use a CR2032 battery. You can pop the old one out to make sure, but if it's about the size of a quarter this is probably it.
