I believe I erased my sound driver for emachine
you can't erase the driver when it's already installed, anyway try installing realtek driver:
http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/downloadsCheck.aspx?Langid=1&PNid=23&PFid=23&Level=4&Conn=3&DownTypeID=3&GetDown=false#AC
or you can do System Restore in Control Panel, go to Performance and Maintenance(category view) on the left select System Restore, restore computer to earlier time before you erased files.

Sounds like the power supply or the motherboard. If you have another computer available, you can test the power supply. Just "borrow" the power supply from the other computer. If it still won't come on, then the motherboard might be bad and you'll need replacement.
If you swap the power supply and the motherboard is bad, you will not hurt the working power supply. The motherboard is already dead and won't feed back to the working power supply.
Also, if you have flashed your BIOS recently and it has not completed successfully, you might have a dead motherboard and you will need to replace it. You would know if you flashed or updated your BIOS chip.
Hope this helps!

To get a very detailed report of your system and its expansion capabilities, download (free) Belarc Advisor and let it examine your system.
Keep its report for future reference and it can also help you or a tech if trouble arises.
It will tell you how many memory slots you have available total and let you know what the maximum capacity of your system is.
Belarc Advisor
You must have MS Internet Explorer available (any version 4.0 or later) since Advisor uses it to display the report.

Your question relates to a Home Based situation???
If your e-machine is wireless capable, you can enable this feature through the network settings in the control panel. You will of course need a wireless router and it will have to be connected to a broad band connection.
alternatively, if your machine has a ethernet port (looks like a phone jack only bigger, you may want to get a ethernet cable and connect directly to your modem or router.
I hope this helps you

sounds like you have a bad connection. what that is, is that your page is timing out. make sure all your cables are pluged in securely and one more thing to help is a program called "CCleaner" it cleans registry errors and cleans your internet cache. cache build up realy slows down your web browsing.

Two methods, either use a BART PE CD to reset the administrator password as described here
http://windowsitpro.com/article/articleid/93304/bartpe.html
or reinstall the Operating System.
This can be a problem depending on what version of Windows 2000 Professional is installed. If it was an OEM version, you should have been given a Operating System CD when you bought the computer as they are tied to the specific machine they came with. The Key will be on a sticker/label on the side or top of the box.
If it was a Volume Licence, then you will need to buy a replacement Operating System.

Hard drive replacement.

Cannot Copy the File swenum.sys
From that error message, either your memory is bad or your operating system (Windows XP ?) has become corrupted.
Remove your memory and add one module at a time to test.
Run Windows repair. Since I'm unclear as to what you are trying to do (run install ?), you may or may not want to reinstall the OS.
Hope this helps.
