You cannot upload a video from Facebook to YouTube. You must upload the video to YouTube by clicking the "Upload" button in your YouTube account's homepage, then Browse to where the video file resides on your computer and select it to be uploaded.

If you are having problem downloading videos from the web using a pc, then you could try a download manager. As an example you could download JDownloader2. This download manager is a stand alone software. Open the web page for the video that you want to download, run or play the video as if you were to watch it right now and there. Once the video is running or playing, move the mouse to the address bar, right click and copy. Now open JDownloader 2, Click the second tab (Link Grabber), at the bottom you'll notice a drop down square with +Add New Link title, click it, it will automatically add the link that you copied, click continue. Google owns Youtube. If you just want to watch videos you don't have to have a google account. If you want to do anything else on Youtube you have to have a google account. That's what happens with a monopoly :(

It rather depends what format the file takes to download into your computer. But in order to play it in a DVD player it would have be converted and put on a DVD disc. You can get software that will convert most video files and make DVD's using writeable discs. Well Matt, you'll need to make lots of interesting videos, get lots of followers/subscribers (use facebook and twitter also to build a fan-base) or you have to be truely outstanding in something and try to get the video to go "viral". it helps greatly if you can record in HD, as youtube will reduce your image quality..... so the best resolution you can get will make your videos more appealing...... just look at the most popular types of video for pointers, and try to decide what you can do to improve on your own stuff.
