Hey Noel, that is just a T-com board problem. Replace the T-com board.

is this happened either watching a tv channel or even watching dvd movies?. and then does the display only white screen or a totally black screen?.

If so, a software [firmware] update too might be necessary. Before going further; try a hard reset first. If it does not help you, replace the main digital board. There are two methods to reset TVs. The first is simple to do; a Hard Reset. The other is somewhat skilled; is a Factory Reset (System Reset). To make it a hard reset, just unplug the TV from AC mains wall socket, and re-plug it back after 15 minutes or so. If you do this by overnight is better. This procedure will make it a hard reset. First plug a other thing in the plug on the wall if it comes on then you know it's the tv power is a problem it could be that the power supply's has popped also there should be a button on the side of the tv some ware press it in or on make sure there

Yes your player has gone into a wrong region make sure that if your tv is pal it must be pal NTSC will also make it go black and white check tv input and DVD player settings

You probly got the button wet you will havev to try use a hair dryer in the eges and blow it dry or you have poped a fuse pop the back of look for a glass tube fuse it's only 1cm big it could also be white just check it will cost about 1 dollar for the fuse

There might be someone around you with a similar tv or do you have a other one in the house some people use remote blasters and that can also transmit a far distance just close the ir in front of the tv

Sure are you using a preamp component system or do you want to play it on the tv if you do have a pre amp run the RCA cables to sterio input on amp or aux then in the setting of the amp go into sound and put the aux to 6.1 also remember that to use audio out on your tv
