Brand new delta single handle shower valve won't shut off

If your new Delta single handle shower valve won't shut off, it could be due to an issue with the valve itself or with the installation. Some possible causes include a misaligned handle, debris in the valve body, or a faulty cartridge. It is best to check the installation instructions and ensure that everything is properly seated and aligned. If that does not solve the issue, you may need to contact Delta customer service for further assistance or consider hiring a plumber to diagnose and fix the problem.

Pegasus shower valve makes a jackhammer sound

Pegasus shower faucet causing nearby toilet flush to trigger tankless hot water heater to trigger. Also, all faucets in house make hammering noise when turning them off. When turning the inwall pegasus shower faucet valve water stops shut, all issues disappear. So the pegasus cartridge is at fault, though we just replaced it and the pressure regulator too. Will another cartridge/pressure regulator work instead?
Thanks

What is a Bidet?

A bidet (pronounced "be-day") is a device that cleans one's rectal or **** area by directing a gentle stream of water. Most bidets are relatively expensive toilet-sized stand-alone units built into sufficiently large bathrooms. The bidet attaches to your existing toilet and provides the same benefits as the larger bidets, but without the bulky fixtures. Millions of people throughout the world use a bidet on a daily basis! Bidets are used by men, women, and children of all ages. Bidets are for anyone who wants to improve their personal hygiene. Everyone can benefit from using a bidet. Bidets are especially helpful to: people who are recovering from surgery; people who have physical disabilities; people with dexterity or other problems that limit their range of motion; people who have various medical conditions, such as hemorrhoids, diarrhea, dysentery, difficult bowel movements, or other ailments that involve the rectal or genital areas. Men and women who want better hygiene before or after sexual activities and women who want more effective feminine hygiene during monthly menstrual periods uses bidets as well.

Kitchen delta faucet doesn't get hot enough

Was it hot enough before the Delta? If so open and close the hot water valve (under the sink) several times as there maybe mineral deposits. I know you said the flow is the same on hot and cold but unless your version is a single handle model the problem should lie with the valve. If this is a cartridge model (cold & Hot together) then the cartridge may be out of align allowing the cold and hot water to mix.

Single-handle Glacier Bay shower faucet, hot/cold reversed

Behind the handle check to see if it has a dail to take out and replace at a different postion this will change the hot and cold. It a anti scald protection device. Don't remove cartridge just adjust dail.

Mark where you start and take out and move a 1/8-1/4 turn at a time and replace til temp desired. It has teeth like a gear you move to adjust temp.

Delta II urinal continues to flush after replacing the diaphragm

Refer to instructions that came with valve body, orgo on line and read them CONTINUOUS FLUSHING:1.The Regulating Screw (061024A, item #4) may be turned RIGHT (clockwise) TOO FAR. Adjust by slowly turning the Regulating Screw LEFT (counter- clockwise) (except -6, -48, -42, -19 and -05 models which are fixed volume).2.If flush is still continuous, close inlet stop, remove Regulating Screw (061024A, item #4), CLEAN bypass slot in the Screw, REPLACE it in the valve and Adjust slowly for proper flush (except -6, -48, -42, -19 and -05 models which are fixed volume).3.CHECK the relief valve in the Handle Cage (060810A, item #12) and see if it is stuck in the open position or fouled by debris. Replace the Handle Cage(060810A, item #12) if necessary.4.Remove cast cap assembly (see Table 1) and Diaphragm/Guide Assembly (061323A - WC, item #7a or 061324A - UR, item #7b, 061376A - UR,item#7c) and check for contaminants at renewable seat and diaphragm and check for debris in the cap for blockage. I want to remove the flow restrictor in the Delta a112.18M shower head handle. Any advice how to remove it?

Most modern shower restrictors are permanently fixed and require some prying with a pick or small screwdriver and possibly drilling. Be careful that in removing some of the pressure reducing stuff you do not slip and put a hole in yourself. You don't have to get it all out, just enough to allow full pressure to the head.

How to adjust hot water temperature on Delta single handle shower valve

If I am reading this right. You have one single handle that controls the temp and flow in your shower, correct? This being the case and you cannot adjust the HOT down enough with the handle. Then my suggestion would be to turn it down at the water heater. If you remove the access door on the side of the unit. There should be either a dial you can turn with a small flathead screwdriver. Or a switch that selects the desired temp. But take into consideration that this will effect ALL water temp throughout your house. Washing machine, Dishwasher, etc.................. There might be one other thing to investigate as well. Look into the cold water supply side at the water heater. It might not be open all the way. Thereby restricting the cold water flow..........:) Good luck, Jason

I have a recently installed Delta 68816 shower head that was working well, but now, the handheld portion has lost water pressure. I barely get a dribble. What is wrong?

Guessing you have hard water. Is there there white crusty stuff around the little holes? If yes, take the head off and put it in a bowl of vinegar for half an hour or buy CLR. Either should soften or dissolve the lime. OR When you take the head off check the little filter screen for dirt. If the water has been off recently, the rush of water gilling the pipes again can stir up any dirt in the pipes. Take the screen out, clean and replace.
