I have a recently installed Delta 68816 shower head that was working well, but now, the handheld portion has lost water pressure. I barely get a dribble. What is wrong?

Guessing you have hard water. Is there there white crusty stuff around the little holes? If yes, take the head off and put it in a bowl of vinegar for half an hour or buy CLR. Either should soften or dissolve the lime. OR When you take the head off check the little filter screen for dirt. If the water has been off recently, the rush of water gilling the pipes again can stir up any dirt in the pipes. Take the screen out, clean and replace.

Plumber installed a delta multichoice valve trim

not all that familiar with your particular faucet. but in my experience, most plumbers dont put grease on the valves when installing them . the factory just uses enough grease to get the valve in the faucet. if you have extremely hot water and use it . it wont take to long for it to cause this problem.. just an opinion. i cant imagine how the buildings shutoff could have anything to do with your problem.

I just installed my Delta Multichoice Valve Trim

If you look inside the shower head from the back where the threads are you can see a flow restrictor, if you take it out you get a lot better flow.

I have a Delta scald

It is more that likely the valve in the stem of your fixture, I'm assuming this is a single handle faucet. If you can replace the valve, you will cure your problem. I am giving you a link to how to adjust the hot water temp.

Delta bathtub faucet cartridge will not come out

Delta faucet cartridges unscrew, and take a special tool. If you don't have one most any hardware store that carries Delta should have one. Did you try that tool?

My delta shower faucet has gotten very stiff and squeaks when turning on and off, how do I fix? It is a single lever with temp adjustment on it

This will happen over time due to the buildup of solids in the water. You can take the lever off by removing the setscrew (usually a small hexhead on the underside). Whatever parts you remove can be cleaned. Use a cleaner like CLR that is designed to remove calcium and lime. Follow the directions. If there are gaskets in the parts you remove, you might want to work a little WD-40 into them before you put it back together. It won't be the same as new, but it will help.

Water is lukewarm, not hot.

If the lukewarm temp is only at one place; for example kitchen , but hot in the bathroom, the problem is with the plumbing in the kitchen. If water is lukewarm throughout the house or apartment, the problem is either the hot water heater, or the mixing valve that is just down-stream of the hot water heater. (If there is a mixing valve installed; there often is not one.) I’m happy to assist further over the phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/bill_f6ca18ca1db028ed
