On a DACOR ERG36 yes that is correct we get a beep immediately on plugging in with code 070 changing to 075 and back

It sounds like the Magnetron has failed, this is the heart of the microwave oven and very expensive to replace, I suggest you buy anew unit.

Dacor ECPS130 fan won't shut off
Hi, Dacor has a Technical Manual that may help you with your problem. It has a ECS wall mount oven but does not list a ECPS. Is your listing of the model correct? Here is a link to download the Technical Manual. https://www.scribd.com/doc/14008662/Dacor-Technical-Manual Hope it helps.
