Where is the trip switch on a Creda Simplicity T620CW dryer?
The Creda Simplicity T620CW dryer does have a resettable thermal safety cut-out switch, which can trip if the dryer overheats. This switch is located on the rear of the dryer.
Here are the steps to access and reset the thermal cut-out switch on your Creda Simplicity T620CW dryer:
- Unplug the dryer: Make sure the dryer is unplugged from the power supply before you attempt to access the thermal cut-out switch.
- Remove the rear panel: The thermal cut-out switch is located on the back of the dryer. You will need to remove the rear panel to access it. Use a screwdriver to remove the screws holding the panel in place, and then slide the panel off.
- Locate the thermal cut-out switch: The thermal cut-out switch is a small, rectangular device with two wires attached to it. It is typically located near the heating element or the exhaust duct.
- Reset the switch: Press the button on the thermal cut-out switch to reset it. You should hear a click when you press the button.
- Reassemble the dryer: Once you have reset the thermal cut-out switch, replace the rear panel and secure it with the screws you removed earlier.
- Plug in the dryer: Plug the dryer back into the power supply and turn it on. If the thermal cut-out switch was the problem, the dryer should now work normally.
If resetting the thermal cut-out switch does not solve the problem, it is possible that there is a more serious issue with your dryer. In this case, you may need to contact a professional repair technician to diagnose and fix the problem.
