I have a durabuilt DB1404 and when i'm spraying,
This sounds like you have an inadequate supply of water to the unit. Make sure your supply faucet is turned all the way on, use a 5/8 or 3/4" hose from the faucet to the unit, and use a smaller tip on your spray nozzle to minimize the amount of water you are using when working.

I have the Coleman powermate 2400 PSI pressure
Sounds like the valve in the handle is sticking closed. May have a broken spring, or maybe a part is stuck..
I say take it apart, and the answer will present itself.. Play with it with nozzle out too... Maybe something is stuck after storing so long and will loosen up.. Fingers crossed
Engine starts easily and then stalls, is hard to
If the engine dies shortly after start. Squeeze the spray wand trigger to release pressure on the unit. When restarting let the engine run for a few min(2-3 no more) to warm up, the unloader valve on the pump should keep pressure to a minimum. If the engine stalls or will not run you need to check your carburetor and clean it. BECAREFUL as FUEL is FLAMMABLE and there are small parts in the carb float bowl that like to get lost. A rebuild kit for most carbs is less than $8USD and a can of spray carb cleaner about$2-3. Install a fuel cut off valve($6) to keep the carb from gumming up again. Shut off the fuel when not in use or for periods of prolonged storage. Take a picture of the carb on the engine(my memory is bad) and during disassembly to assure you get it back together properly. The idle screw should be turned in(to the right)till it seats lightly then backed out 1&1/2 to 2&1/2 turns to start with. After starting the engine adjust for good idle and running buy turning in or out to attain the best idle. If this is helpful, Please leave Feedback. Thanks, SnugglePants
Electric Model # pw0751250 replaced
I suggest you change out the handle. It does not have to be the exact same one, since you can "adapt" the connection to virtually any power washer handle. If you have a "Northern Tool and Equipment" nearby, they stock a variety of handles...The complete assembly, handle wand and all starts at about $30...and goes up from there. If you do not, you can order on line. Here is a link to help you locate a store, brouse parts, and/or order online. Hope this helps. Good luck!
