Hi Try this method

To "Settings/Registration Table"

You can specify the method for restarting scanning of documents when a paper jam occurs in the feeder.

For information on the optional products required to use this function, see "Optional Products Required for Each Function."

1. Press (Settings/Registration) ? [Function Settings] ? [Common] ? [Scan Settings] ? [Feeder Jam Recovery Method].

1. Select [From 1st Page] or [From Stopped Original] ? press [OK].

Details of each item are shown below.
[From 1st Page]: If a paper jam occurs in the feeder, scanning starts again from the first page of the document. [From Stopped Original]: If a paper jam occurs in the feeder, scanning starts again from the page of the document scanning was interrupted.

Canon Image class does not feed.

From your program select File - Print. In the window that opens up there should be a button marked Preferences or Properties. Select that to see the available options for your printer. Dear Biswabhusan It is due to the problem related with CIS. Pl. check the cis cable/cis and its home position sesor ,its a plasti strip white color just above the cis home position and its attached to the platen glss. Thanks.
