DR-9080c Isn't being detected via USB
Uninstall the device driver, restart the Comp and reinstall the software. If the scanner is not detected, try inserting any working device on the same USB port. if it detected, thee could be problem in the Scanner, if the new device is not detected, then it may be port problem.

Canon 7090C is slow between pages
If the target storage area is insufficient this will happen. Clear disk space, run 'defrag' to make space contiguous and try.
Also if you choose 24 bit color in TIF mode, it will take time to write onto disk leading to stopping in between scans.

How to have white background on small documents
All areas outside of the document will be black only. I don't know how you were getting white background.
If you want white background around your scanned image, a) stick the check (in this example) onto a white paper and scan the whole sheet. Ensure double detection is off. b) You can also do this in software, by cropping a larger area outside the scanned image.
There are many options to view the scanned image like Actual size or Fit or Fit vertically or Fit width. The same image will appear different in each case.

Canon DR9050c: Is double-feeding very frequently
Double feeding is very unlikely with a New set of rollers, as they are clean; however if the fine dust from papers stick to it, it can cause slip. The pickup and the feed rollers push the paper towards the scanning module, while the retard roller initially (in the bottom) pushes it outside. Incase there is a second sheet, it will be pushed out and only one page will enter the scan module.
Slip can take place if the paper is very smooth or has find dust on it. Stapled papers are held together at the point it was stapled, even after the stapler pin has been removed. Ensure all pages are not sticking to each other.

Hello, i have a Problem with my Canon dr 9050c. If
There are a set of gears that convert motor rotation into lifting of the tray. Check if the gears are aligned properly. Any stapler pin jammed inside can stop the gear, while the motor pushes it forward. This will create noise. Very unlikely that these motors fail. Also clean the paper sensor in the tray.

Canon dr9080c wont scan to the guide plate width
Remove the paper tray, remove the cables carefully. If you turn tray upside down, you will notice screws, remove them carefully. clean the 'golden finger' and ensure there are no staple pins. (Staple pins alter the circuitry). The gear wheel and the paper guide must be placed correctly so that it moves freely.

Canon DR9080c - getting error code P00 which means
This is a common problem in 9080C. When the top cover is closed, the sensor sends light and it is reflected thro the black cover in the bottom. Then the scanner assumes the cover is closed. Any obstruction is treated as P00 error. You will notice three small oval & round shaped clear plastic. Clean them with a brush and ensure the edges are clean. Light goes thru one side and come thro the other, which is sensed by the unit placed in the top cover.

Canon dr-6080 getting an error a01 and won't feed
As per the manual it is "In the event of a pick-up error, the document
was fed to the front registration sensors." Clean all the Sensors and try. Use isoproyl alcohol only.

Will Only Scan Color and single sided
Once I had a similar problem with CapturePerfect 2.0. No amount of setting will change the scan output. I hit the default option and then changed to the setting I wanted. It worked. May be there is a bug in the Scanning software.

Blurry scans
Try cleaning the reading module with Isopropyl alcohol. Dont use any solvent. Gently press the scanning module to see if there is enough spring action.

My pages are scanning in landscape instead of portrait.
At start get into settings and change to Portrait. (If you are not able to get into settings, uninstall CP3, restart the Comp and reinstall the software.) You can easily rotate the output and get the desired size in portrait.
