I have a digital canon

Light up the scene! Even pro lens would have trouble taking pictures at night. Pro shoot in highly lighted stadium with 10 000$ lens with tripod or monopod. Tamron sells entry level lens, stop searching a trick, you wont find any other than lenlighting the scene!

I have canon rebel xt with promaster spectrum 7

Check for bent CF pins. Remove back cover and make sure bottom right screw that holds the rear circuit board has not come out (a very common problem with this model) and is shorting out part of the board. Try another lens - if it only does it with this lens then the lens is bad, usually caused by a bad aperture unit. Promaster does not sell parts unfortunately.

Rebel t3i error code 5

Error code 5 is a flash pop up failure code. Is your flash popping all the way up? Usual cause is sticky liquid spillage that gets into the flash hinges - especially rusting the screw - so the flash won't move. Push the flash up button (not set on green rectangle - set it on P) while gently lifting the flash up. Then puts some Windex on a Qtip and clean the area thoroughly. You may have to remove the flash cover and the screw to clean the flash pivots also. I usually also coat with a light grease. (CAREFUL - there could be 300 volts present across the flash tube, and you can get a bad shock!!!) An unlikely cause would be failure of the flash up switch on the bottom of the top cover. You would have to remove the top cover to get to it. Another cause is user error - you are wearing a baseball-type hat and the flash is hitting the bill and not going all the way up, causing the error. Turn your hat around.

Camera ds126071 driver

Do you really need a driver? The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries. Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo management program such as Picasa ( http://picasa.google.com ).

You saw that the microdrive fits where the memory card goes? FixYa currently doesn't have a way for us to delete questions once they're posted. They want to keep the questions and their answers up for posterity, in case the answer might help somebody else in the future.

I Was on the menu

You pressed format on your camera. That meant that you formatted the memory card of your camera. All your pictures are saved on the memory card of your Canon digital camera automatically. So you can recover pictures from memory card with data recovery software.I have a professional program on my computer that can recover data after deeply scanning your memory card to look for lost data you accidentally deleted or formatted. But you had better have stopped using the memory card of your camera. Because, once the pictures were overwritten by new ones, they are gone for good.By the way,you can download it and scan your memory card for free to preview whether your erased photos can be recovered.Get it from http://www.any-data-recovery.com/product/datarecoverystandard.htm

How do I reset my canon xt EOS to factory settings

To restore fsctory settings set Mode t0 P, open menu at Set Up Tools 2 and selct Clear settings. This restores factory settings but I am not sure this is the answer to your problem. There are numerous reasons your images might be soft other than incorrect settings. I would be interested to know the outcome.

Canon ds 6041

you can take the memory card out from camera and then use camera recovery software, recommended asoftech data recovery software as it helped me before. http://www.asoftech.com/adr/If above does not work, you may have to format the memory card (use quick format), and then use above mentioned software to scan again the memory card and recover your files.

Err 05 on Canon 7D

The error code is used to tell you the flash could not be raised. Check if anything is blocking the free movement of the pop up flash. First reaction should be, switch the camera off and then on again. Better though, after you switched off the computer remove the battery and charge it first, Then again try everything as before. The manual says is the error persists, wroth down the error number and contact your nearest Canon Service Centre.

Bent pin memory card slot

The repair shop, probably will charge more then a new camera, even newer than yours will cost. In my young years I had to learn to adjust relay contacts, and that was not easy, if you want them to survive all. I won't say it is impossible, but it would be a nasty job. If it is only one pin you have bent, you could try to use one or two little knives or other small and flat tools, and coming from a different side, you could try to come on the pin. If they are not bent that much, you could try to use an old and defect CF card, Use a little saw, to saw from top to bottom so you are left with a pice with just a few rows of contact holes. you could try to place the piece of the old memory card on a few pins endif they fit, careful press the part of the card down. Or if the pins are bent a lot. shift the part over the pins and try to bent them straight. I don't know how far the pins are bent, but just try something, without opening the camera.

I have a canon rebel xsi and sigma 100-300 zoom lens. I get an error Err01 when shooting. It says communications error and clean contacts which I have done. Is there an incompatibility issue?

I don't think there will be an incompatibility issue. If your other lens(es) work well, your camera must be ok. But not only dirty contacts can cause trouble. If a very small dent is in one of the contacts of the camera, or one of the contacts from the lens is a bit to far pressed in, you also have a bad or not existing contact with the same error. In the lens also something can be wrong. I strongly suggest to try the lens on an other camera and see what that brings. If the error goos with the lens to the other camera, you know where to look. But I think only professionals can repair you lens if it is defect.

SD card will not lock into camera

These need to be pushed in quite hard - provided you have them round the right way. Gold connectors in first, of course, but you still need to orientate the card correctly.
