American Standard 2474016.222 also had the same problem mine had two discs apparently on efrom factory perhaps and one from the floating disc that must have fallen off I used a screw to get them out adn drained as much water as possible then went back and forth adding water a little at a time and then using a tolwel to sponge the water out (no shop vac around) After findign one I then found the other. This post saved me sooo much money adn I have dealt with the intermittant problem for years in this spare bathroom THANK YOU SO MUCH

you can buy a replacement at a homecenter or hardware store for under $15

its got a blocked down pipe lime scale will do this to you, the only way to sort it out is strip it out completly and give it a good clean, if that still failes to flush then its the flushing pump needing looking at,

Yes it can. Buy a coupler and some PVC cement at a supply store. Cut enough off each end of the break to insert cleanly in a dry fit. You can use a hack saw. If the fit is ok, the clean all around both edges of the pipes with purple primer. Then apply cement on one end of the pipe and inside the coupler. Push the coupler onto the pipe until you feel it bottom out. Hold it in place a nimute or so. Repeat with the other side. Allow it to sit overnight and dry thoroughly and refill with water.

This type of flush system can be re presurised quickly by holding down the flush handle for about good 2 minutes, then release , wait for the tank to be refilled with water.

it's likely due to an air lock. Here's what you can do to resolve this issue: Manually Clearing an Airlock: Run the jets on low for about 30 seconds. Then run the jets on high for another 30 seconds. Repeat this process 3 or 4 times. If you hear a gurgling sound and see air bubbling up, continue running your hot tub until it pushes all the air out.
