Conoe will not track straight, even when paddling
Make sure that the weight in the canoe is evenly distributed and that the bottom of the canoe is clean. Also, remember to keep in mind the strength of the people paddling. If one is significantly stronger, then even when paddling in sync the canoe will veer to the opposite side that the stronger person is paddling on.

My Humminbird portable 160 doesn't
hi.
it certainly sounds like a transducer issue.
if there was a pinhole in the sealing then the water could well have seeped in slowly and caused a problem.
would i be correct in assuming that this is a new unit and you have only been using it for a few days. if so, then my advice would be to contact the supplier as it should have a warranty on the unit and they should be able to replace it for you. if it is a preowned unit, then it needs to be checked by the dealer anyway, to find out what the problem is, and how much it will be to repair.
cabelas also have their own customer service helpline that can give advice if needed on 1-800-237-4444.
please feel free to ask if you need more information.
hope this helps

I just bought a new boat and need to buy a boat
Never buy a trailer with the same capacity as the weight of your boat! This can be very dangerous! Instead, make sure the trailer's capacity is at least twice that of the weight of the boat, all your gear, and the boat's motor.
